Steve Rhodes is a bad man who attacks people at their worst. I was down, I lost my job and my marrage was falling apart. I had a lot of debt and was drawn in by a site called get out of debt .org. it looked promising, he reviewed different companies warned me off what called “scams” and then I found out that he himself owned the company he referred me to! If this deception wasn’t bad enough, this company strung me along and wasted so much time that my creditors wanted nothing to do with settlements. Steven Rhodes is a bad man and a con man… watch out and watch out for your money!

Steve Rhodes is a scam artist. He defames all the competition to gain trust in prospects. Then sells the leads to the highest bidder. Run. His site is designed to scare you away from others and to trust him. His agenda is to profit off of you.

His scam has earned him a tremendous amount of money. I hope someone shuts him down one day.

I agree, he doesn't have real accreditations for me to trust his advice. I just see a man with a lot of time on his hands to blog on the computer about an industry he "thinks" he knows about. I'd prefer an educated advisor. Just because he responds back to negative posts doesn't mean he is a trustworthy guy. He seems to have a lot of negative complaints on google and that says a lot about a person.

I'm not sure what "full of swears" means. How many swear words are there and how many are by me, in comments by others, or in reader questions submitted? There are nearly 22, 000 posts and 47, 000 comments on the site.

As far as the complaint the site is full of accusations, again, is this accusations by readers or something that I wrote. Readers will find generally the facts I state in articles are well documented and sourced. So what accusation in particular is Jay West stating I made that is inaccurate?

The complaint above is a very good example of someone making unsubstantiated accusations.

Steve Rhode seems like a really negative and unprofessional guy. His blog is full of swears, accusations and worse. I would never trust someone like that with something as important as my credit!

CONSIDER THE SOURCE: GetOutOfDebt.org
I don’t know about you, but I question how much faith that I should put in a site that BOASTS ….” If you still want to take a run at me legally, send me a nastygram or a cease and desist letter, then you should contact the lawyer”…”And if you’d like to find out what his favorite ammo or weapons are, you can…” SOURCE: http://getoutofdebt.org/terms
I am a city boy so I don’t know much about ammo…
but if you search the Bar Association Disciplinary Section you will find the NC Bar Assn. doesn’t really care either… http://www.ncbar.com/discipline/disorders.asp

Steve Rhode is a solid dude, he's a journalist that sheds light on scams and the scam artists that run them. The above complaint can only be from an exposed scammer seeking revenge.

Go ahead click the link above that Steve himself posted to his site and make up your mind for yourself.

Just not true. I do not own another company to refer people to. I don't do settlements and charge no fees for services.
