Snoqulamie Valley Towing (owner David Dahl) towed four of our vehicles illegally from The Summit at Snoqualmie / Snoqualmie Pass ski area. We all went to court and got our $463 EACH! back from this scammer. He towed others that night as well, I can only guess that the others that were towed got stiffed their $409.

If you ever get towed from The Summit contest it on the grounds of not being properly posted per the Revised Code of Washington (RCW)

Towing companies and there drivers are middle man, the callers are the property owners. For one reason or another they want the car off their property. I had this happen to me, I lived in Kirkland apt. building and worked (remodeling) in Cannon beach. one weekend i drove this old rusty beach truck home from Oregon and parked it in my spot at the apt. then went back to Cannon beach for anther work week. When i returned from Ore the truck was gone and nobody knew nothin'. First time i asked the management they said they knew nothing about it. After some calling around I found the truck at a tow yard, They told me the managment call them saying it was illegaly parked. I left with somthing in writing and showed it to the management, funny how lies busted can change a person's face.
Turns outs... never mind, the point is made. THERE IS NO FREE PARKING UNLESS YOU OWN THE PLACE! (and leaving a note doesnt always matter).
Tow drivers and companys are just doing a job.
David Dahl, Snoqualmie valley towing. clearly has the best rates in the area.

I would see if the PRIVATE SECURITY FIRM at the Summit-At-Snoqualmie, is getting incentives and/or cash for calling in cars that maybe are or maybe not illegally parked. Use the FOIA to find out. It probably is NOT the summit management but these (possibly) armed security cretins that pull all kinds of intimidation and cash collecting stunts there on any given day.
Good Luck!

what these people who had there cars towed failed to mention was they admitted they parked in front of no parking after 12:00am signs.it was 1:30am, the ski patrol had them impounded, and they pulled up our impound signs that were at the entrances that i just had installed at the time of impound and took pictures. and got lucky with a judge that does not like towing companys

I do agree w/Anon1986 & Irisheyes...

Irisheyes, what company does your husband work for?

I do work for a tow company... I get to deal w/people like you often... & it's completely ridiculous how some of you people can act towards us for your actions... & yes, some people are very nice & come in & admit that they're wrong...

Why blame the tow company for your stupid actions...? It's not the tow companies, the cops or the mangers fault (whoever had your car impounded) that you can't park where you're supposed to... It's yours...! If you can read, don't park where you see a sign basically saying you will be towed... That simple...! The tow company didn't park your car, the cops didn't park your car & the manager didn't park your car... It's your car so you had to have done it... Right...? Maybe your mom & dad should have taken you out more or if you're still young enough should take you out more so you can correctly park a car, & things like this won't happen...

In the case of whining mamas boys like you, what do you expect? Does Snoqualmie Pass/Alpintal need to have tow signs every two feet so that you'll get the message to not keep your vehicle there or it will get towed? My husband is a tow truck driver, and every now and then he has to put up with a whiny [censor] like you. The solution is simple, you don't want your car towed? Then don't park past the alotted time allowed there you [censor], and give these people a break. They are just doing their jobs. If you wanted to blame someone who was in the wrong then take a look in the mirror.

In a case like this the tow company was more then likely called by state patrol or the managers. Seeing as the company is based in North Bend it is highly unlikely that David drove 30 minutes just to tow cars to scam people.
