Beware of! Lawyers can compound a tragedy at this online bank.

Who can afford to put any substantial sum of money into a so-called "co-owner" savings account without right of survivorship or the ability to name a beneficiary? Why don't they offer true joint accounts? If the worst happens, whatever money you have could go to pay a lawyer to get your money out of while hangs on to your money for months or years. Guess that makes the people who established the really smart pigs.

Come on, do the right thing. Other online banks offer right of survivorship, true joint accounts, and "pay on death" beneficiaries, why can't you?

I closed my goal on 7/3/2015, the money was not sent out until 7/7/2015, but I only got interest till 7/2/15. SmartyPig kept 5 days of interest, which is not fair!
