Sbarro bad customer service

On 7/14/2017 I was in the San Antonio airport early in the morning. I ordered a breakfast that consisted of both bacon and sausage. I asked the gentleman behind the counter if could substitute the piece of sausage for bacon. He rudely said no, that it would mess up their inventory count. He didn't give it one thought, it came out of his mouth as if he says it all the time. Really, you've never dropped a piece of sausage on the floor and did it mess up your inventory? Even the customer in front of me looked at me and rolled her eyes at his response. I guess it's not about the customer at Sbarro. I travel for work and eat at many different places. I would rarely ask for a change to my order, but when I do, most restaurants gladly offer to do so without much discussion. It's not like I asked for a lot. Sometimes companies need to be reminded that if they are in the service industry, practice some customer service. Unless that's Sbarro's way of doing business, if so, very sad. I had made it a point not to eat there at all, I've passed it up on a recent business trips. Really, just wanted to vent!

Sbarro poor quality fork and spoon

The quality of the fork and spoon what sbarro provides is very poor. While eating pasta the fork which was made of plastic broke with just a little force. My 2.5 yr old son was eating pasta with that fork. The fork suddenly broke and he ate the broken piece along with the pasta. When I complaint about this to the staff their respond was very awful. The amount sbarro charge for their product and the quality which they provide is very poor. Cheap plastic is used in fork and spoon. Staff behaviour is rude.

Sbarro BAD Service / BAD EXPERIENCE.

Today is February 2012 (2/13/2012).
It took me this long to write about this, b/c I was simply too busy at the time. I made a note to write about this, but apparently I lost that note and I just found it now.

On 8/3/2010 @ 8:21 pm, I went to the Sbarro at the Planet Hollywood Miracle Mile Shops in Las Vegas.
The employee who served me was an asian girl named “Marie”. The phone number on my receipt is [protected].

I ordered a “Veggie Slice” pizza for $4.99 per slice. I also ordered a “Snapple” drink for $2.99. The Subtotal is $7.98. The Tax is $0.65. The “Eat In Total” is $8.63. I paid in cash.

The pizza I received was the last piece. It did NOT taste as good as all the other times that I ate at Sbarro. Actually it pretty much SUCKED at the taste department! I’d give it 1 / 5 stars. FYI: I’ve been eating at Sbarro for a really long time (hint: for like over a decade!). Here’s what is REALLY discusting: she DROPPED MY PIZZA out of its place! She DROPPED THE PIZZA ON THE COUNTER! Yes, D-R-O-P-P-E-D it! At the time, I was just so extremely hungry and therefore so tired, that I ended up just eating it. I was just hoping that the counter was clean. I can’t believe she had extremely no remorse for what she just did. There were several other people who saw what she did! This chick did NOT even APOLOGIZE! This chick did NOT even offer to give me a replacement or any other type of fitting compensation! She didn’t even flinch when she realized that she dropped MY PIZZA (that I PAID for in cash).

The drink was also the last bottle. The drink was NOT CHILLED! It was barely cold (BARELY). I mean it was summer, so obviously it was gonna be hot. Especially SUMMER IN VEGAS, even at August! I paid an expensive amount of more than $3 for a bottle of Snapple. This would’ve only costed me $1 in a vending machine, apparently convenience will co$t me. If I would’ve known the prices ahead of time, I would’ve brought me my own water bottle (which I usually do).

I asked if tax was included, she’s like “YAHHH”. She looked annoyed. She sounded annoyed. She gave me this attitude like I’m some kind of dumb ###?!?! Like WTF!?!? She gave me an attitude through her voice. She gave me an attitude through the way she looked at me. She gave me an attitude through the way she acted towards me. She was snotty and she was snobby. ‘NUFF SAID!.

As for the WAIT…oh boy did she make me WAIT. As if that wasn’t ENOUGH INJURY to insult, she served one customer AFTER ME! I was waiting longer! I’m thinking EXCUSE you!…I was FIRST!…I was here BEFORE that customer!…yet you served a customer AFTER ME! AFTER ME?!?! R-I-D-I-C-U-L-O-U-S. When I was 1) so hungry 2) so tired 3) disrespected in excess 4) served a DROPPED pizza. 5) paid a disgustingly expensive amount of more than $3 for a bottle of Snapple.

EPIC FAIL. FAIL! Major fail on your part Sbarro, esp. for not training this specific employee on her unacceptable behavior towards loyal customers like myself. I used to like eating at Sbarro all the time (what with the way customer service used to be and the ginormous portions), but I guess you may have just lost a loyal customer(s) for life.

At least I'm not a pathetic loser, searching this website just to "comment" on other people's complaints. Apparently, you don't understand the fact that this website is called "COMPLAINTS BOARD". Actually you've already spent more than 24 minutes and 12 seconds making me feel special and famous. If you really had a life, you wouldn't have spent your time looking through my other comments AND actually reading through the entire thing. Sbarro Awful taste of pizza

For years, and I mean years... I loved Sbarro Pizza... the last three times that I have gotten their pizza it has been awful tasting...

The slices are definitely smaller in size though they use the same boxes to put them in... Last week it was DARK BROWN... not quite burned and the slice was about 30 percent smaller than they used to be...

One Sbarros that I went to on the PA Turnpike told me they no longer sold sausage pizzas...which turned out to be a lie...

The slices used to be larger, lightly cook, great crust and tasted amazing... after my last three trips, I am now staying away... Sad because the pizza used to be outstanding...

All three times that I had dreadful pizza was on the Pennsylvania Turnpike between Philly and Harrisburg. ( two differnt stores)

The food was warm, the chicken was dry like old chicken and the servers were like don't want to serve people.
I don't recommend this place.
