I agreed with Proline to have them build an outside riding manage in middle of last year. They agreed to commence work prior to Christmas and never turned up. They arrived in 2nd week of January 2009 and commenced work.
The work has been very infrequent - a few hours here and a few there and the owner Mr John Collis cannot now be contacted on the only number I have. [protected].
I agree that the ground has been wet and unsuitable for some of the time but I have made numerous calls and sent e-mails asking him to contact me.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

I have been totally conned by this man, Jon Collis, took a hefty amount of money to build stables and I soon realised that workmanship was awful and sporadic visits, no labour and shoddy materials. I have given him ample opportunity to refund but he has ignored emails and phonecalls. He is based at Cardinham Dressage along with his wife who obviously condones this behaviour. Please be aware of this man, dont use him, I dont want anyone to go through what I have gone through.
Jonathon Hunton/Collis and Michael (now Highland Equestrian Construction) built my arena and I realised as soon as they came on site that they were "Cowboys"! I was harassed for money before materials arrived and any queries I raised about the build were rubbished and dismissed, even though they turned out to be correct. It was sooooo stressful. Needless to say I have already had to pay for expensive repairs to the membrane and drains, and no doubt there will be more to come in future. Please do NOT use Premier Arenas or Grand Prix Arenas or any other company run by these people - wish I had seen the posts on here before now 😡😡😡😡
Look, I had my arena built by John Collis or Jonathan Hunton who owns Proline or Grand Prix Arenas and the man is a crook. Clearly some of his crooked accomplices have come here to bicker at each other. The man is a crook and deserves to go to prison.

The bottom line is... John Collis Aka Jonathan Hunton/Guy Alford and his wife (breeder and rider) are con merchants! They put in substandard arenas, normally with the work contracted out. They pay no tax and change their business names regularly! Whether it is Proline, Premier, William Edwards or Jackson Arenas. They live and work at [removed] and also have illegitimate businesses in the US. How these people and their associates can sleep at night is beyond me! Reading up this thread, I do not think lying is at all acceptable, Mick1015, but to be expected from such low life. Just hoping that the hundreds of arenas botched (to a point that could cause harm to horses) by the 'Huntons' is unveiled by those now looking into this matter.

I'm only looking at this from an outside point of view, but very much no what you have done to this business and there family with all your lies .
As I'm a retiree I have plenty of time to take you to task on what you have done, and make people aware of your nasty damaging rumours.
On that note after starting to do my home work on you, it seems you have done this before and have had numorouse court orders against you from previous employers.
As you are aware of all the lies etc you have told I think you know what to expect to happen, I think some people call this karma.

I think you need to get your facts straight before bringing my name into any of this rubbish again. I never worked for Premier Arenas Scotland directly, I did contract work for you in a sales capacity. I have never posted on here before, not as myself, or as anyone else and I have not been on social media pretending to be someone else slating any arena companies including PA . I am NOT working for any other arena company on a part time or full time basis and have ZERO desire to ever be involved with this industry again after my experience with PA. I did contract work for PA for less than a year actually, not 2 years. I was NEVER paid what I was due and what the agreement was. I was never asked to leave, I chose to leave, more lies.
I have no vendetta against anyone, I am not out to ruin anyone, I have better things to do with my life. Pot kettle black.
I strongly suggest you re visit what you think you know, you are very much barking up the wrong tree. I am MORE than happy to see you in court if this rubbish continues
Dear kaz1 ie Odette Tetley former employee of premier arenas scotland . I find it funny you keep going on here and social media pretending to be someone else, slating a company you worked for 2 years and took many thousands of pounds for getting these jobs for premier arenas scotland and then when ask to leave over being greedy and wanting more money you then result to causing as much damage as you can.
You caused the company to close its doors which then it could not make good any issues they had, and not happy with that you are causing problems for other companies and the truth is you work for another arena company part time this is obviously why!
your clearly someone who is out to ruin people just hope people don't start a vendetta on your horse foot trimming business barefoot performance!
I also see on social media, yet another victim of this Rogue Trader at stables South of here. The same problems, clay coming through cheap membrane, not enough stone or sand. Pictures show the whole arena having to be redone after just over a year!
I really think you need to get your facts straight before any of you go mouthing of about what you think you know. My business MM arenas is very successful and has NOTHING to do with premier arenas. I wasn't there working for premier arenas I was there helping a friend. I worked offshore at the time. You really are missing the point of who built the arena. Think you need to swing towards a company called Highland Equestrian Construction. That is the guy who WORKED for premier arenas and he was the one who built the arena from start to finish. So please do no use MM against this or you shall have several letters from my solicitors doing you for slander
We have an arena finished at the end of June 2015, Jonathan Hunton of Premier Arenas took our money then ran, tried to get him back to fix initial problems, but he has vanished! One of his 'workers' has then gone on to open up MM Arenas! The arena is having to be completely re-done! Not enough stone, wrong type of cheap membrane, not enough sand or rubber & fibre! Total nightmare!
John Collis of Proline Equestrian and Premier Arenas is now trading as Grand Prix Arenas and has changed his name to Jonathan Hunton he has many people wanting to get hold of him because of outstanding debts and equestrian arenas that have gone wrong because not enough materials are used to construct them to a usable standard ie. incorrect membrane and ones that are too thin, not enough sub base stone or sand etc etc, I have seen over a dozen arenas constructed by him that are unridable with clay coming up through the riding surface because not enough stone has been used, uses cheap Eastern European labour that speak little English and have to work 16 hour days and thus can quote for a cheap arena just to get the work, also gets the deposit and disappears so if you want a cheap arena they are the ones to call !
I worked in proline, John is a very cunning and insidious person, hardly paid out on time. he took new works paying off the old ones. I thought he was in jail a long time for what he's doing, but I see he's doing fine. I worked for him in 2008. I do not recommend this company. He speaks sweetly and the work is undone.In addition, work without a contract. Best Regards from Poland.
i hope some one gets hold of him and gives him a hiding!i subcontracted work to him once and pulled off cause he didnt want to do things up to standard i couldnt sleep if i left jobs like that.
I am an arena builder with over 15 years experience, I have seen first hand the arenas built by pro line equestrian and they are not fit for purpose and I have also met with many people that have lost many thousands of pounds to this man John Collis who I hear is now Trading as Primier Arenas, so be very aware!
He is now living in Hampshire in the big house on bream ore estate near fording bridge in Hampshire

We had a menege installed by Proline Equestrian in August 2008. John Collis said it would take 4 weeks. It ended up taking nearly 12 weeks. The ground works they completed for us around the school is terrible and has repeatedly flooded. The staff would turn up sparodically. The delivery trucks turned up unsupervised and destroyed the concrete in our stable yard which John did not put right. Recently the membrane in the school has broken and stones are coming through in places. John has not returned our calls for 9 months and I now see that both his office number and his mobile is unabtainable. Dealing with him has been a very distressing experience and I would not recommend anyone to do business with them.
The menage they built for me was so bad that it is virtually unrideable, clay is coming through the membrane to the surface because there is not enough limestone to cope. It is now dangerous to ride in. This was done in April 2007, and I am now having to threaten to sue John personally, as he has not replied to my phone calls. Worst company I have ever dealt with.
