I beg you to get a 3 month health warranty before buying one of her babies. We bought one from her on Jan.7, 2012. On Jan 10, 2012, we took her to the vet for what we thought was a cold. In her short 74 days of life, each time we contacted Laurie Wood about the problem, her response was always the same. It was our fault. Something we did. After putting this baby through hell, we ended up having to put her down. I felt like a murderer. We had taken her to 5...five, different vets trying to make our baby well. After a tracheotomy, the doctors discovered that her trachea was damaged beyond repair. As she grew, so did the scar tissue. About an inch of her trachea did not have quite 2 millimeters of open airway . She was slowly suffocating. The damage was there when we got her, proof shown in her first x-ray. One of several that was taken of her. They first thought it was a growth that was closing down on her trachea because each week, we had her in for an xray to see if different antibiotics were working & you could see her trachea getting non-existent. Not until she went into surgery did they discover there was nothing that could be done. Had it been a prolapsed trachea, that could have been dealt with. It was a horrible memory I will have to live with the rest of my life but I also have the memory of the love & kisses she gave us while alive. I beg you to make her give you a WRITTEN & SIGNED 3 month health guarantee. Maybe this way you won't be paying a vet bill for the next two years .

heath2011, I'm happy for you that it made you feel like a hero saving a bengal cat's life. Talk about designer breeding. Excuse me please but I'm sure there were some little plain janes at the aspca that would have liked a home but just weren't cute enough to rate getting yours. Yes, I am very upset over your post. It wasn't necessary to slam me. I wonder, do you slam a parent who just lost their child in a car accident where the child was given a mustang or a camaro as a graduating gift and only give your condolences to parents whose child died in a old used vehicle simply because it wasn't a designer car? Shame on you for berating me for falling in love with this precious puppy and countless others who fall in love with a 'designer' puppy. You should be ashamed of yourself.

By the way, heath2011, I didn't pay 1, 000. How presumptuous on your part.

Jon McCartney, this wasn't a congenital defect. I wish it could have been something like a prolapsed trachea. That could have been repaired. You are very lucky to have found a good breeder. What kind of dogs do they breed? This puppy was only the second one I've ever had in my life that was mine. Sadly, her predecessor passed after loving her for 15yrs, 1month & 10days. I waited 2 years and stumbled across this one and fell in love. Having raised my children and having my first dog for so long, I couldn't help myself. I'm pushing 70yrs old and having something to cater to and love on is a gift. My husband can only handle so much. LOL

It is sad that anyone can put out what ever they want up for the world to see with no thought or to comment when they have never met them it is almost slander in my opinion I would not take any advise that just freely lets you post I always go to the BBB at least they do leg work before posting nonsense

we are on our 3rd puppy from them and they are all doing great we have referred them to many of our friends which now own one if not two of their pups and they all have had great experiences with them we like to think of dogs as kids they are living breathing things no one can tell the future I do know they will offer a replacement puppy if you are not happy what more can you ask of a breeder do you get warranties when you have a child, you can get canine insurance we have been to many breeders and they have the nicest set up we have ever seen their dogs are very well taken care and you can tell they are loved that is what we look for in a breeder and if you feel paying a higher price for your pet gets you better quality then I differ and before someone judges them maybe you should visit them first they are not a mill in any source their puppies have a living room with furniture toys galore tv's clothes and cute decor we put a deposit on our last puppy at 2wks of age and visited it weekly and the place and the dogs were always clean even when we dropped in no one was ever in a cage they are socialized and the last two we got were potty pad trained when we got them and never had an accident on our floor I will encourage my friends to share their experiences also after learning about this.
