NYC Traffic Agency Command T-301 Tax Reg # 347663 review: parking ticket and bigotry 1

This complaint is specifically in regards towards TAX REG #347663
I park my truck on a very busy street in East Williamsburg - because of the high truck traffic ie; 18 wheelers and box trucks most cars park with two of their tires up on the sidewalk because hit and runs are almost a daily occurrence. My truck was parked like this yesterday 8/16/2017 along with several other cars parked exactly the same way. To get a ticket for this is understandable however the officer that was out yesterday in our neighborhood came up to my truck and in front of my neighbors read my bumper stickers which say things such as "STOP BIGOTRY" "I HEART EQUALITY" " NEVER TRUMP" etc. and said " Never Trump - WELL THIS PERSON IS GETTING A TICKET."

He proceeded to write a ticket for $115.00 and put it on my windshield. He did not ticket any of the other cars on the street that were parked just like me.

Our neighbors came up to us this morning to ask if we received a ticket yesterday and proceeded to tell us this story.

I don't think bigotry and parking tickets really need to go together. This person's intolerance toward those who hold different opinions from oneself does not give them a right to ticket based on opposing views. Do I need to take my bumper stickers off now because I need to be afraid that someone within the NY Police could abuse their authority over me for expressing my opinion?

My truck also has bumper stickers on it indicating that we love to Surf. We have a sticker that says EAT - SLEEP - LEGO. Are we going to be ticketed because we love indie rock from KEXP in Seattle? Or because we love Toyota Off Road vehicles? That sticker is on their too.

I believe this person needs to be educated in bigotry and how to keep his personal opinions and beliefs out of his job. This person should not use their authority to punish people for opposing views. Behavior like this should not be tolerated from the NYC Police Department. I intend to file this complaint everywhere that I can. I thought the motto was Protect and Serve.
