This company L & W Investigations is a joke. Take it from me Neil Lyons requires a "small investment" approx $3, 000 to start...he advertises in the paper...I paid him money, signed all of the legal paperwork, and the end result is I am working off my "investment" by doing b.s surveillance, and after I have worked enough hours, , he would pay me hourly.
Well..Neil Lyons always mentions his attorney that he uses to the fullest extent, and even though he hasn't committed any "real"crimesm, he's making big bucks off his students over his PI school.
You are not guaranteed a certain amount of hours...and he covers himself by having you sign all the paperwork and the contract. He doesn't want you talking to anyone else who's in his school either.
Well, I wasnt getting hardly any work, and after having argument after argument with Neil Lyons, I quit..and just let him keep the money. I've found a couple of people who also did his PI school, and quit..and they had the same stories as I did...he always boasts that he's never been sued that 's because there's no recourse once you sign the paperwork. He has idiots working for him to. L & W Investigations and Neil Lyons are just thiefs.
I owned an L & W franchise...lost all my money. In fact the last case I did I was never paid for. Neil Lyons walked away with my $100000 franchise fee and then never paid me for the last cast which was an additional $8000. No recourse...he is just a crook, fraud and a thief.

This posting indicating that the "PI School" run by Neal Lyons has no basis in fact - there IS no such school, and L&W Investigations, Inc. is a reputable company that has been a valuable asset to insurance companies and risk management companies for decades - where did this stuff come from? I have utilized this firm repeatedly and find NO basis for this posting -
They have the wrong company and person.But this site doesnt seemed to care or take responsibilty for this.We have offered to pay anyone who shows that this is true.And we have written complaint Board of course no answer.Need to be fair if you expect people to use this site.
