Sherlean Hunter, of Huntersridge Bengals, begged me to sell "Huntersridge Dice On Ice" back to her. She promised me a pick show kitten or $2, 500.00 USD funds in payment. She promised she would never resell "Dice", and after using him at stud she would neuter him and keep him forever as her personal pet.
I honored Sherlean's request, and returned "Dice" to her without payment as she was at that time short of funds, trusting that she would be ethical and honest and pay me in the near future.
After "Dice" arrived, Sherlean Hunter used him at stud. Shortly afterwards, Sherlean Hunter sold "Dice" to another breeder - to Jungle Fusion Bengals. Please note that his buyer (Jungle Fusion) did not have prior knowledge that Sherlean Hunter had not paid me for "Dice". Sherlean Hunter has now owed me the $2, 500.00 for "Dice" since Februay 2009. It's now January 2010 and she hasn't paid back one cent of the money owing.
In addition, Sherlean Hunter does not have her home phone number displayed on her Web site. Likely because she owes a lot of money to many International breeders.
The cattery pictures on Sherlean Hunter's Web site are false advertising, because they were taken when she moved into her previous rental house. Sherlean has since moved. Unfortunately for her clients who Sherlean owes money to, cannot locate her address or find her phone number.
I have filed this complaint with the Ocala Police department, Florida.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I knew there was something Shady about this individual so I started researching her. She is the state manager for Tiago title located in Tampa Florida. Her cell number is [protected]. I know this is the same person because there were two Bengal cats in her office.
I mean, this individual does sound like she got some mad [censored] but who are you to post her information on the internet? You do realize that is illegal correct? Especially if she receives harressment and its traced back to your comment. Have fun. 🖐
I purchased a beautiful well cared for and loved, Bengal kitten from Sherlean Hunter who just died at 7 years old from a very aggressive cancer. My 3 different vets (including an oncology specialist vet) told me that this is very unusual and it was a BAD breeder! This cat clearly had genetic defects. There is a special place in HELL for money grubbing evil people like these shameless people. We are heartbroken and Karma to you! Shame on you!

Please report her to TICA if you have not already. If she is a member of TIBCS she can also be banned or suspended. Also, those of you who have lost money to this woman should file a report with the police and /link removed/ I am so sorry to hear that this happened to you guys. It makes me so mad!

If you did research then you would know NOT to do business with Huntersridge Bengals (a/k/a kitten mill!) Way too many complaints and I didn't do much reasearch at all. One complaint is to many. It's not a very hard job to take care of a kitten!
I have done business with Ms. Hunter and was very pleased. She was honest, forthright, and fulfilled all her promises. Not only that, I received an amazing kitten..perfect health, beautiful, and a wonderful personality. I recommended her to my friends and they, too, had positivie experiences. There are many Bengal breeders on the market so I did my research before buying my cat and found Ms. Hunter has MANY SATISFIED customers . I only have good things to say about Ms. Hunter. ( I am a business owner and I have dealt with the public on a daily basis for 20+ years. In that time I have learned you can't please everyone all the time!)
BEWARE...BEWARE...DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH Sherlean Hunter of Huntersridge Bengals! She has owed me $5000.00 for several years now. To date I have never receive a dime! She is a untrust worthy person. I feel horable that she is countinuing to scam people. What a sad life! But this is her practice. She is a skilled liar! I am VERY glad to know that there are other people out there that are standing up and speaking out against this dishonest fake business person. I can tell you everyone of these stories that I am reading are the same experience that I had with her. I just hope EVERYONE reads these post and stay clear from her before she scams YOU as well. If you do business with her you will be discussed, and you will be the next victim to post your horrible story! This is a continuing practice with her!
I was scammed two years ago by sherlean also. She was to pay me for a male that she wanted and constantly lied and told me how broke they were while all along was dealing or buying other cats while she owed me. Then she told me they neutered him and he was thier daughters pet. I found out that she had posted him as a breeder int he ocala newspaper and only wanted 250.00 for him and stated that she paid 2500 .00 for him! When I called her she blamed it on her husband at first and then she admitted to it and came up with other stories. When I asked that she provided proof that he had been neutered she sent me the letter from the vet but this paper was altered by Sherlean. I had contacted the vet and they were very upset. I later found out that she had sold the cat to someone else. I finally received half of what she owed me only because she had a mutual client send me the money instead of sending it to her. This other person was scammed also. The lies went on and on. Warning...steer very clear!

Sherlean Hunter of Huntersridge Bengals, has caused untold un-happiness to lots of breeders. Many have lost all of their money and have not received the kitten that they paid for. Buy from her at your peril !
