Hot Point review: washer & dryer set

I purchased a Hot Point washer and dryer set from Lowes. I am not a person to complain but here goes.
I purchased this set probably 1.5 ago. It is the worse purchase I have ever made. I have had the repair man here at least 3 times and have had replace the dryer knob twice.
I do not get hot water in my machine. The repair man said that that is a manufacturer setting and it can not be fixed. I do not even get warm water.
There is also not enough water to rinse my clothes. I understand it is supposed to be water saving but the water barely covers the bottom of the tub. It also does not spin the dirty wash water out before attempting to put the rinse water in. This has caused my clothes to become dingy.
Unfortunately due to health reasons I had to retire from my job after 30 years. I can not afford to replace these appliances. I know there will not be anything that you will do. But at least finally letting your company know how I feel and spreading the word about these appliances will give me some satisfaction.
