I was contacted by this company by phone asking for a different name. when I told them they have the wrong number, they said it did not matter and they wanted to offer me a great promotional vacation package. The went on how good of a deal it was and that it was in one of the best and most luxerious resorts in Florida " SummerBayresorts" and that it was close to WaltDisney. I was very skeptical, the salesperson called his supervisor and he told me to check the resort online by going to " WWW.Greatvacationsnow.com" and checking " Summerbayresorts". He also offered me a 2 bedroom condo suite. Anyways they convinced me to purchase the package, which I did. I did make a reservation on Sept.17th for November. Obviously there was hidden charges that were not disclosed in the beginning. I was charged an additinal $45.00, which I thought it was OK. They were very persistant to sell me a car rental package as well, which I did not buy.When asked where the hotle address was, I was told they did not know yet, and I could see it on their website within the next 5 days. I did check today Sep. 24 on the website " www.greatvacationsnow.com" . There was a reservation letter posted on the site. when I opened it, it said that at this point everything is pending and do not purchase any transprotation. They have also added five additional charges of $99.00 to my account adding up to $495.00 additional. I called the customer service
[protected]. A spanish speaking guy whose voice was familiar ( He spoke to me when I was making reservations) piked up the phone. I asked about the reservation and the fact that after more than 5 days, there was nothing confirmed. He said give us another two weeks. I said: " I am sorry, I am getting red flags and you had promised to give the confirmation in 5 days and now are asking for an additional two weeks. I am not interested and I want my money back." He said : " Hold on." He put me on hold for almost 15 minutes. Then a lady whose voice was familiar( she spoke to me for the second part of reservation last time when I called) picked up the phone and said " Quality Assurance how can I help you today?" when I explanied about the reservation not being confirmed after 7 days, she put me on hold for 15 minutes and then picked up the phone and asked for my phone number ( that is how they trace the customers) she put me on hold for another 15 minutes and sounded very rude and impolite. when I repeated my concern she said give us more time, we have to call the resort in and ask them to rush this. I told her that at this point I am getting a lot of red flags and I need my money back. She rudly said the money is non-refundable, she could either cancel the whole thing without refunding my money, or call the place to reserve my hotel. I told her how long would it take to know when the hotel is reserved for me, her answer was she did not know, I had to check periodically on the website, and when it is confirmed I will see it. I told her I am sorry this is very unprofessional and I need my money back. She yelled at me and said that the money is non-refundable and that she was going to put me on hold till I had a civilized conversation with her while she was fully charged with rudeness, and she hanged up the phone. Please do not fall victim to this fraudulanet company. The site they show you on the internet is a fake one.
Can someone tell me how to get my money back?
