GM Upholsterers is very unprofessional company. They have taken half of the payment as deposit and were estimated to finish work in 2 weeks. They didn’t manage to do it on time and in fact it took 8 weeks for them to finish the job but besides that they have done it badly and their product didn’t fit.
On 03/04/2012 I paid this man R7500-00 for lapa blinds. He said that the work was guaranteed for 5 years. On 06/08/2012 I contacted him as my light brown blinds had faded to purple in 4 months. He came to get a sample and take it to the supplier and that has been the last. I have had empty promises of getting samples of new materials ever since, then the supplier has given new material and then they haven't, The material has been collected and then it hasn't, I will come and see you and then the bakkies clutch fails, I am around the corner and then 10 minutes again end up in nothing. I have spoken to Gerhard as well as his wife and still nothing, now he tells me I can not tell him how to run his business, he has a lot of work and can not attend to me now. He needs to get compensation from his supplier for labor cost and so the excuses pile up. This guy could make a fortune if he delivered service like he delivers excuses. I would not suggest anybody does business with this guy, the 2 door Mercedes that he drives is impressive but the service and honoring guarantees is NON EXISTING. Compare the other reports, this guy is a scammer, now, consumer council and lawyer, no Honor left. 18Hoo 11/09/12 again no measurements taken as promised, at least received new sample of material, saga continues
