Forest Lawn Cemetery review: Crooks 1

My husband is buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery (Richmond, Virginia) and up until now, I have been mostly content with the service I have received. However, recently I visited his gravesite and discovered that the vase that was attached to his headstone has been broken off. I assume it happened when the lawn care personnel was cutting the grass. In my opinion, whomever it was cutting the grass that day would had to have been blind and deaf not to have seen the damage nor heard the noise that lawn mower would undoubtedly had have made when it sheared off the metal vase and still be clueless as to what he had done. I have called to rectify this matter on about 4 or 5 separate occasions. Each time, I get a sweet seemingly concerned person telling me that she would be calling me back in a day or 2 to let me know when it would be repaired. However, once I get off the phone, I never hear from them again. This is not the first time the vase has been broken off my husband's headstone, but at least the last time I did not have to call quite as many times before it was repaired. I do realize mistakes happen, but what infuriates me more that anything is Forest Lawn's lack of concern in returning phone calls and me having make numerous attempts to resolve an issue I had absolutely nothing to do with. I would appreciate receiving the same courtesy, respect and attention I received when I first visited Forest Lawn to make the arrangements for my husband's burial, but in this case to have the vase replaced.
