Fairy Dust Shoes / Poor customer service

I ordered and paid for a pair of Ruby Slippers from Fairy Dust Shoes for my daughter's 18th birthday in October 2009. I converted the US size into UK and ordered the size my daughter usually takes. The shoes arrived and were too small. I contacted the owner of the company to explain that I would have to return them, ordered a size up and asked her how much extra money she needed sent to forward the re-order. I promptly returned the shoes and have proof of postage.
I have emailed Fairy Dust Shoes several times to ask if she has received the returned goods and have heard no word from her. Neither has she forwarded the re-ordered goods. So - Fairy Dust Shoes have my $100 and my daughter has no Ruby Slippers. I have threatened to take further action and the next step will be legal.

    I was wondering what the outcome was? Did it escalate to filing a law suit...because I would be happy to join you! I ordered 5 pairs early this last Febuary and have sent many, many emails begging for a response. These shoes are for my daughters wedding!! I paid through paypal and filed a claim yesterday but there's no gaurentee I will recoup my enormous loss...5 pairs of fairydust shoes!!! You can imagine the cost, I'm sure! Please let me know what happened. Thank you!

    Sad Mother of the Bride - I really feel for you. I did get the ruby slippers after posting comments on the Fairydust Youtube adverts and posting a complaint on this website drawing Marilyn's attention to it. Beware though as she does not use consistent makes of shoes and there are large variations in the one size. The ones we were sent to replace the tiny ones were massively large. I have contact details that I will happily supply if necessary. Maybe letting Marilyn know that her postal address could be placed on this will spur her into action. I think that she's just unorganised. I'll check this over the next week or so to see if you need further info. Take care. Gallus Bessom

    I ordered a pair of Fairy Dust Shoes from Marilyn on August 21, 2010 for my wedding. She said she would ship them to me as soon as my check cleared. It cleared on September 20 and I have yet to see the shoes. I have emailed her 3 times and have gotten no response! I am currently pursuing action with my bank...they have initiated an investigation. I also ordered another pair of shoes from a different business. Hopefully this will go better.
