This is just another internet scam. I googled for iomega super dvd driver and I was directed to driver detective drivers for iomega products. They claim you download the drivers you need for free, but what you download is a driver detective program. After you install the program you must register it and here is when they charge you 29.95 dollars or more. Do not fall for this as I did. You will get nothing and they may ruin your computer. They would not refund your money.

I also purchased this program.

It could not find my drivers, so I contacted the customer service.

For two weeks, I have not had any reply from them. I have been inquiring about a refund now, and my inquiries are being ignored.

Caveat emptor!

I will try emailing Mike Hurd directly at the address above and see if I can get some response... but in the mean time I would caution anyone not to purchase this product, as it didn't work for me, and I couldn't get in touch with support.

Mike Hurd,

No offense but how the hell can you be the president of a company that 100% false advertises what your downloading?

I mean seriously, it says in big letters right below the driver DOWNLOAD, however when you click download your not downloading the actual driver which is what you have being shown, you wind up being asked to download your softwar!

WTF kind of BS is this.

You are a complete idiot, and someone should find some shyster lawyer, to sue your companies ### off.

Vilnis,

I do not understand you comment, you updated 16 drivers on your system, then you requested a refund. The refund was granted and issued with in 5 days of request.

Please explain further.

Totally agree. Driver Detective fails to do anything other than inspect your existing drivers and proclaim the status as GOOD, OUT OF DATE, or NOT INSTALLED. Those messages are FALSE! Driver Detective "finds" non-existent problems on your PC and "fixes" them in a way that may ruin your system, while fails to address real problems.
For instance, you may go directly to Dell support site, download and install latest drivers and still get OUT OF DATE message that particular driver.

Use of so called "software" is as comprehensive as their "refund procedure" - to appreciate that call [protected]. You will not get any response when you try to contact them and certainly - no refund, although I will still try BBB and my bank.
