Same thing here in Florida, asking for someone I've never even heard of. Going to go to the FBI link an if it continues will post the son of a biscuit's number on Facebook, that's bloody brilliant.

Okay I had the same issue yesterday with the same persons as described above. I however turned the tables. He called my job from 7am to 5pm clogging up several lines at a time. He kept calling from a blocked or unknown number, but when he called my cell and thought I was at money gram to send him money he gave me a name (fake i'm sure) and a number to call him back. I called about an hour later and he answered. That was all I needed. I proceeded to go to my FB page and put the number with the name he gave me and asked some of my petty friends to block their numbers and call him. I also called him several times last night. After a while he answered the phone yelling please stop calling me! He was like you have a million people calling playing on my phone and that is against the law. I laughed at him and reminded him so was what he was doing. As of now I haven't heard from him. Before my friends started calling he said he was going to call my job from 8am to 5pm well it is 8:45 and he has yet to call me back. Hope it works out for you guys that are still being harassed,

Same as many above, they keep calling for a former employee who has not worked here in over two years. He told us we need to find her and was swearing at our employees, her then did some auto-call where he filled all of our lines for several minutes. He yelled and said we were lying and that he'd keep calling until we find her. Call your phone company and have them activate "Anonymous Call Reject" if the number comes up unknown. If you know the number have that rejected from calling your business. Also file a complaint with the BBB for their company here: http://www.bbb.org/greensboro/business-reviews/collection-agencies/dff-investigations-legal-dept-of-nc-in-greensboro-nc-33065333

Same thing is happening to me except the name they are using is Adreinne Walker & the phone # is [protected]. My boss is LIVID I hope I still have a job after the past 2 days of non stop calling. They claim I owe from an old payday loan but will not provide any documents that show it. They called my cell phone 142 times yesterday and called my work alot more then that had all the lines tied up for hours. I have reported them to the FBI, FCC, FTC & The Local Police ... How can we make it stop ?

They still seem to be alive and well as of 5/2014. My guy's name was Matt Morgan and they called from a DE number (area code 303). Everything else is consistent with above posters.
I sent my complaint to the FBI (google FBI tips and the link shows up). My guy stopped calling immediately after I told him that I sent in the complaint.
Normally how these things work is that, after a few complaints, FBI will look into it, and the more people they have reporting, the more likely they are to contact someone stupid enough at DFF to get everyone caught. I'd recommend contacting FBI in the future (for what it's worth).

The same thing has happened to me. A person called claiming to be Johnny Bravo (really?!) with a heavy indian accent. He tied up all our phone lines and I work at a school. We called the cops and even had the cop talk to him. He was very rude to me, the cop and a co worker (very offensive language). They are saying I owed money from Cash advance which I haven't. I haven't even heard of these people. He stopped after the cop got involved, but then called again this morning. Only one this time. I hope he doesn't call again.

This company has been calling our company looking for a pass emploee and wont stop call. And even said he would keep calling and the person they are looking for hasn't worked here for 3 years. And even tells me that we are lying to him, this is a medical office and he has tied are lines up with his calling over and over again. Something needs to be done about this company they need to be closed down now. He said his name is jimmy but don't believe it. He has an indian accent.

Just received one of these calls. As seems to be the MO, a "Jeremy Stuart" who has an extremely heavy Indian accent identified himself as being with the US Government DFF (Division of Finance Fraud?). He was looking for a former employee of ours who's been gone over a year. First he was asking for contact info on the guy, then he switches and tells me the ex-employee has now got our company involved in an investigation due to his criminal activities. (all false, of course). I asked the man to please fax me an official request on government stationary and with all pertinent info so I could pass it on to my boss. I also asked for his call back number, he got to the last two numbers and hung up. [protected]?
Why is this kind of thing allowed? If any American companies are farming out collection calling, or whatever the heck these people think they're doing, then this should be made illegal now. Imagine all the wasted productivity of all the office workers having to fend off these jerks!

I have been harrassed too by a bob walton and jerry ray with heavy indian accents. I am soo tired of these people calling my job. They claim to be DFF investigation from boston mass. They gave me a address 200 atlantic avenue boston mass but I looked it up online and found it is a restaurant! What can I do to stop these people from harrassing me and co workers? I live in Santa Barbara. The number they call from is [protected] and [protected]. I really think these guys are living in India with United states cell phones that are tracker phones or prepaid? HELPPPPP!

I work as the switchboard operator for a large corporate building and have been getting harrassing phone calls for a specific employee. When the employee does not answer their extension he calls back numerous times, tying up several lines at once from [protected] . He yells and uses profanity with me. He refused to provide specifics about his company. When I advised him I knew he was attempting to commit fraud, i was documenting each of his phone calls and that I would not transfer him to anyone in this building he called me a "f'___ing b____" and hung up. So far I haven't heard from him again...

I have spoken to a guy named Brandon Scott [protected]) with a heavy indian accent. He repeatedly calls my job (which I got fired from today for the constant harrassment), has threatened me, refuses to give me or send me any legal information pertaining to so called debt he says that I owe. I contacted the business that I owed money to to confirm amount has been paid in full. This company is a complete fraud beware! I have no criminal record, decent credit and yet this guy is threatening me with the FBI and will not stop harrassing the company I used to work for. Ive gotten the same type of information I see others have. I tried to call back at the number that is listed and they sometimes block me. I was able to call it back today between harrassement calls and the guy FINALLY told me the name of the company. You cant block the number or stop them from calling because they use several numbers at one time. Ive been told I will go to jail if I dont make an arrangement and pay back the money I supposedly borrowed and didnt pay back. This company has ALL of my personal information and I do mean everything, he even ran a background check on me. Help?! Can anyone tell me what to do and who to contact about these people?

I have been getting calls from one who calls unknown and then leaves a number [protected] and I told him I was recording the call and that the information he was calling in regards to was incorrect. HE is messing with the wrong one.

I recv'd a call from a Jerry Millano. A number to reach them is [protected], which might ring you to an Anna Murphy. I threatened to file a complaint with the FTC & Attorney Generals office concerning they're unlawful debt collecting tactics. This man has called my job repeatedly for the last week or so, using profanity, threatening jail to my co-workers for "covering for a criminal" ? These people are sooo rude & annoying that I end up having to use some profanity of my own. They say this is because I got a cash advance (which I never have) and that I'm being charged with 3 counts of fraud. They told me I would be going to jail if I didn't handle this matter immediately. I plan to send out a Cease & Desist letter today but also make a complaint with the FTC Bureau of Consumer Protection & I found a link to contact the North Carolina Attoney General (If that's even where they're calling from), but they call theirselves many things. The 1st time they called they said they were with NC Law Makers. They answer the phone "Investigation" I don't know who these people are but they've messed with the wrong one!

If anyone has any information regarding "DFF Fiancial Fraud Copmany", I would be very interested. The heavily accented Indian caller name "Peter Williams" has called non-stop from [protected] trying to track down people once working for this branch. He automates calls tying up 7 lines into this office daily and refuses to stop calling suggesting they will send authorities to our location if we do not help them track down people with "fraudulent" activities. This has gone beyond annoying and there is no way for me (with my skill-sets) to track down this company/caller and file charges on them...help anyone?
