Jenna Miller of the Quincy Il DCFS office had maintained contact with me regarding emotional and verbal abuse of my children by their father and his live in girlfriend. She had agreed custody should never have been taken from me. I had sent her evidence that she never followed up on therefore causing the case to be unfounded and when put on the stand she sided with my ex husband and completely disregarded the evidence that was in her posession. Her deception and negligence played a factor in the loss of my custody of my children. Enclosed are text messages between Ms.Miller and myself proving this statement.

I had a Dcfs worker come to the hospital not even 24 hrs after I gave birth to my daughter. She was very rude, wouldn't let me speak and that isn't even the beginning. She stopped by several times, along with another man, and she had told me I needed to spend less time going out for a cigarette and more time holding my child, while my child was sleeping in her bassinet. She accused me of being on drugs and forced me to go get tested, and had no grounds to do so beings I was never on drugs and there was no alcohol or drugs/paraphernalia in the home. She at even one point asked my mother if my daughter's father was even the father and that is extremely inappropriate to insinuate. She was constantly abusing her power by making comments such as if I didnt want her then I needed to tell her and she would be happy to take her then and there since that would be the "loving thing to do". I was having difficulty finding work along with a split from her father. She was in an environment where she had a multitude of people willing to help out and she was in a clean home with her relatives, myself, or her father. This vile woman forced me to hand over my daughter thru adoption to family members. I am happy for that but she told me if I did not she would take my daughter since she didnt want me being able to take her place to place. IM HER MOTHER! That would be MY DECISION. She always had a safe place to go no matter what. I want BETH WIENHOFF from Quincy IL dcfs FIRED. She made me believe DCFS is a horrendous battle for a state agency to deal with. Dcfs ruined my life after I already lost one child to a miscarriage. I BEGGED God what a joke, to let me keep my child if I had the opportunity again and this disgrace for a woman came in a crushed all my Hope's of having a life with my child. They do NOT intend to help people, they take kids away from families who try and DESERVE to keep their kids and let abusers and horrible people keep theirs. She even admitted in the hospital the first time I met her that she shook her baby. I hate dcfs! These people are awful to deal with especially that worthless woman BETH WIENHOFF. I hope an investigation can be done or she loses her job. She is NOT someone who deserves to decide to make threats to scare people in to signing Their rights away!
This sounds very much like what happen to me too. The investigator said I was doing great. Doing all that I need to do to be considered a fit mom. She told my lawyer that she be recommending my kids to be returned to me. But the next day when we were in from of the judge. She completely flip the scrip and lied under oath that my kids should not be returned to me. She lied that I failed a drug test (when in-fact i didn't even get a change to take one b/c when i arrived at the facility they had run out of test strips or whatever. I had asked them to communicate with the investigator and they l left her a voicemail, I witness it. She lied about that. She said my home was unfit (but she never had an opportunity to even come into my house). She made derogatory comments about me and said that the "new live in gf" of the father was a much better women than me. EVEN THO THIS INVESTIGATOR HAD ONLY SEEN ME ONE TIME... TALKED TO ME 2 TIMES. she came to that conclusion. It bottled my mind. Everything about that case was just like wow. I can't believe this is happening to me. I've been working FT job since my 11 and 9 year old daughters were 1yr old. Yet b/c i was a victim of a domestic abuse once upon a time. They used that against me.
