I had a coupon for 50% hair service and after the 4 hours that it took for Angela to color and cut my hair she charged me $65 for lowlights, $44 for highlights, $17 for the cut and then another $30 because she had to mix more color when almost all my hair was done! I only got 50% off the $65 (lowlights) and even after that discount, the charges were $124! I didn't even like the job Angela did. The color was blotchy near the end of her job at the most important part - the top front of my hair. I was in shock and paid and left. I went home, hated my hair and went back and asked the owner, Suzi, for a refund and she refused to give me any money at all back. I complained about the extra $30 for more dye and she said they only mix so much and charge a base price for that and if they have to make more, they charge the customer! Also, I was there for 4 hours and they don't allow food or drink in the place (not even water!), but they don't provide anything for the customers to drink (not even water!). The whole experience was a nightmare.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I don't live in AZ but I can tell You that Angela lived and worked in Oregon. She's horriable... I went to her for a trim and to have my hair layered. My hair was almost to my waist. In the middle of my cut she joked about it looking like a scary cut. When she was done it looked so bad all I could do was cry. The next day the manager had to fix my hair. The only way she could make it look half way decent was to cut it past my shoulders.
A few months later I ran into another hairdresser that worked there and she said she was fired for screwing up 2 other girls hair. One of the girls was pregnant and had the same thing happen to her but worse. She was having to go in every month for 6 months inorder to fix her hair. ANGELA NEEDS TO HAVE HER LICENSE TAKEN AWAY!
