It started out when i was a sophomore in Highschool when i got a letter in the mail inviting me and my parents to a presentation in a hotel regarding affording college. Well we got there and were enlightened of some things; like the cost of college and many other things. Well they advertised how they would help us along the years of highschool by offering tips and sending current scholarships, but the main thing they offered is that they would even file our FAFSA my senior year.

My parents actually paid around $1200 for these services and i thought I was on my way; i mean they did just what they said...until my senior year. Around the middle of my 1st semester as a senior, i lost all contact. I even tried phoning them, but constantly was picked up by the answering machine.

So to anyone who plans to go to college, DO NOT PAY FOR SERVICES, all that can be done on your own.

Me in my husband are in the same boat. My son just graduated and is in his first year of college. We had paid at least $1200 as well. I also called Partner's first and was told that the owner had died and that they had no way of contacting the widow or the children. I bet his children had college paid for with our money. I'm hoping that someone has found something and there is a way for us to get money back with interest. Until then the Lord will make away.

I am now a senior in highschool, nearing my graduating day, I remembered about this so called "College Consultant Group". Me and my mother were invited to one of thier meetings back when I was in middle school. They promised me help with getting ready for graduation from highschool. They said that money wouldn't really be a problem, I'd have the money I need to get through college. Basically, these people would pay my way through college...we called the other day aaaand THEY DIDNT PICK UP! How can an organization still money from helpless parents & future scholars and leave us stranded, worrying about financial problems in college and doesn't even refund our money? How can these people be F@#%&*! serious! I have always dreamed of a wonderful future for years! A nice house, an awesome wife, a picket fence, a wild ride and a dog in a yard. Now, all that is down the drain. I pray that these people get what they deserve! I hope President Obama comes across this page, then the world would know! Please...no more false hopes. -Miami Central Student.

We were invited to a seminar in Marriot Hotel with this company. At that time my son is in freshman year and my daughther is in Junior year. When we were in the room listening to the guy talking, it got my attention. So i enrolled them in the program.Years later try to call to asked question because of my daughther is graduating in high school. No one is answering the phone so i left a message in a voice mail never got a phone call.I paid $1200.00 now i learned my lesson.Mom of Hawaii i agree with you what goes around, comes around.I'm from Hawaii also maybe we were in the same seminar @ Marriot back in 2006.

We are also a victim to CCGI $1691.13 taken from us from [protected]. I called Partners Financial the gentalman gave me another phone number but no luck. He had told me the owner had pasted away (this was in Febuary I spoke to him)? So what! why haven't the seller agents called anyone of us. My daughter has her heart set to attend college in Oregan in fall 2010. I left a complaint message to BBB in Co. hopefully someone will return my phone call. Here is the phone number to all who wants it #[protected]. Good luck! We deserve to get our $$$$$$ back. Shame on all of those Seller Agents representing CCGI. Same here in Indiana. My daughter was informed through her high school of a siminar from this place. Yea they make all sound good for couple months, get your money by selling the contract to a creditor so you must pay, then nothing from them. No phone, e-mail or regular mail responce. Does anyone know of a class action lawsuit against this place. College Consultant Group, Inc. Colorado Springs, Co. 80906? Parents of Junior in IN.

My son, who is now a Senior, has not heard anything from these people in about a year and a half. I have sent emails and called and left messages and no one has returned the phone calls. We are out of $1200.00 that could have been used toward tuition or books at least. I would like to find out how to file a complaint against these people to get every dime of that money back!

The same thing happened to me as well. I have made numerous attempts to contact the company, but nothing. I am so furious, but I don't know what to do. I filed a complaint with the FTC...but who knows if that will do any good.

This is so hard to deal with. This was going to help with scholorship and grants so we did not have to worry. Well the $1200 that we gave them could have at least paid for some books. I feel like an idiot! I did call the number above and they told me that they are working on contacting the College Consulatants Group and do have all the groups cleints information and will contact us when they have news. (Like that's ever going to happen)! Anyone have any other suggestions? Jackie

I just recently being trying to contact them also, but no response from an email that I sent last week. I have currently paid $1500.00 with them and have cancelled all remaining payments. I wish I have found this out before now that they were a scam. My son is a junior in high school and I was under the impression that we will have no worries when he get ready to graduate. I am so angry for the both of us. I wish their was some way I can find them. No luck!
