Damon Gibson won't pay me for freelance work I completed for the Coastal Enthusiast Magazine and says because he assigned me the work that he owns the copyright. He says his father is lawyer and if I try to collect he will sue me.
After posting a complaint on other freelancer websites I have learned that I am not the only one who isn't getting paid.
Don't do business with Damon Gibson. He doesn't publish his magazines and he doesn't pay those who work for him.
My family depends on my income and we won't have a very enjoyable Christmas this year thanks to Damon. He is a thief and a liar and has hurt many people who did good, solid work for his magazine.
He no longer resides in Corpus Christi, I read he is in San Antonio Texas.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Damon Gibson is a dirtbag. He is still around San Antonio and Corpus Christi scamming people and telling lies. He is a pathetic, wanna be. Lie like a dog and get fleas huh Gibson, you make me sick and you are a flea, a scab that scams people and sponges off of them. You are a sorry excuse for a human. Your daddy always bails you out huh, that is just great. Glad that you won't every bring a child into this world that will drag on your horrible legacy. I agree with johnny! Dg is a horrible person that has no business ethics or morals. I was hired by dg october 2008 as a publishers rep. To this date dg owes me close to $1, 400. Dg has recenly fired me for "poor performance" (lack of communication and training on dg's part) & has told me he would pay me the total amount (all documented through email). All of dg's checks bounce! There is never any money in his account to even pay you after he has written a check. You need to pay us Damon! How do you sleep at night? Damon Gibson is a scam artist. He steals money from hardworking people and spends it on grass. He doesn't pay his debts or his payroll. He is a lazy, unethical and spoiled brat. Texas Coastal Enthusiast is a joke... Stay away from this bad business boy.
