Because of broken sink my bathroom got flooded during the night so I had to do quite a lot of repairs in our house. We hire Claudio Alvarez Construction and moved out for 2 months to hotel. When we moved back in we started to realize how badly job was done. Carpets were coming up and paintjob was very unprofessional. Don’t hire them.
Unskilled? That would be refreshing.
Alvarez Construction was recommended by my insurance company.
My experience was unbelievable.
I had a claim due to a snow storm damage. The problematic section of the roof had to be replaced. I found my yard littered with the torn roofing material, plus the workers' personal lunch garbage, soda bottles etc..., left for two weeks in the wind and rain. Finally, when I complained, twice, they came to pick it up.
I had a thirty year composite black roof. They replaced it with a piece of very expensive, no doubt, piece of white plastic. Top of the line...
They also brought two completely incompetent painters who made it necessary to repaint the whole room. Luckily, when I complained, they sent "The Wolf' the fixer-upper. He was great, he fixed the damage those workers had done in two hours.
I just got a bill for $7400. This does not include the drying of the room, done for another exorbitant sum by another company.
Alvarez Construction? Stay away. They are not looking out for their clients. I could add a few choice words, but I would have to be impolite.
