Bush's Chicken | Hammock Restaurants, LLC - Terrible customer service!

My husband went to Bush's Chicken on N. Grandview and 42nd in Odessa, Texas last week. He pulls to the drive thru and waits like everyone else. An employee walks up to him and he starts telling her what he wants. She looks at him and asks "No Habla Español?". He, of course says "No, I speak English." and the lady walks off and goes to the next customer... she just leaves him there to wait again for service. I have worked customer service for 15 years and never had I just walked off and left a Spanish only speaking customer. I have always asked them to wait a moment and then brought in a translator OR found someone who will be able to help them, respectfully.

I find this whole thing very disrespectful and we, along with most the people I have told this story too, will not be going back.

Bush's Chicken is the worse tasting food. The chicken has no flavor or seasonings. Who ever likes BUSH'S chicken do not know what good food taste like. The BUSH'S in ARIZONA on Bell Road the only thing that taste good is the okra, roll and mac and cheese. Please change the taste of your bland no taste chicken.
The chicken taste awful.

Hello! I recently went to the New "Bushes-Chicken, Restaurant/located here @ San Angelo, Texas/ Knickerbocker Rd. Drive-thru on Friday night on January 4, 2019 @ 6:20 p.m. The service/drive-thru/drop-off was outstanding! The food was out-of-the-ordinary expectation on your behalf!. Concerning, the other chicken places here in San Angelo, I rated the food, quality, food-temps, customer service outstanding! From a scale 1-10? I gave you a "9" on the richer scale! I can tell you this: I am sold for your professional, customer service with a smile, the "go-get-um, " attitude, of getting the order/food out in a matter of minutes, etc. I highly recommend your organization to any one with an "hungry appetite, " where to get something fast and quick at a fair price! I will be extremely proud to return to your restaurant on any given day. Thank you for coming to San Angelo, and I look forward in you serving the "best quality, " money can buy! My family and I frequent bushes chicken. Two weeks ago we went to a bushes on culebra road and 1604. I ordered the three piece chicken, my son the chicken strip meal and my wife basically the same as I. When I was almost done with my meal, I pulled a piece of skin and as I'm brining it up to my mouth, I notice something black. I look at it and find that it's a wormlike centepede about an inch long. It was fried against the inside of the chicken skin. I got up and ran outside and threw up. I had eaten the meat that was up against the skin. I will never eat at bushes again.

My husband went to Bushs in Copperas Cove last night. Ordered a family meal with extra sides. Got home noticed rolls were missing, went back got rolls and asked if he could get some pepper poppers added. They said no cause they were closing. They shut lights off. Someone else pulls up asks for something, and they get what they ordered. So he asked to speak to manager, was told by employee that he would have to wait 15 min for manager to finish his paperwork. He left, didn't feel right about customer service so he turned around and went back. The manager came out after an employee said "thise are the ladies that wanted to speak to you", mind you this is my husband and his "guy" friend. My husband told him about his problem and the manager gave him a number for a survey. My husband asked for a different number for a higher management, that manager told him to wait cause he was going to go inside to call the police, cause he wanted to get home to his family. Worst customer service ever. Yeah it's fast food, but customer service should always be a plus. I've worked customer service before and customers whether right or wrong, have to be taken care of with respect.

Yesterday we came by to get your happy hour drink special. And on your sign it says that you have tea for $1.89. Now, I know from going to law school that it is fine-able to falsely advertise something that you do not offer. I also know that if the sale is no longer the case it is the manager or district manager's job to remove that sign. So, I was about to be nice and just keep my photographic proof to myself, but I'm thinking about calling the BBB and posting these pictures up.

And I have several reasons why I came to this conclusion. First, every Bush's Chicken lied to me about this sign. The sign is there, I have proof, and you all lied to me. Second, you should have had better customer service and offered me something for my trouble. I am in the business of customer service and quality service, so I know the difference. For your rude manager to even tried to offer might have assuaged me and I could have let it go.
Third, you got my order wrong...AGAIN. Giving me unsweet tea when I'd asked for sweet. When I sent my husband inside to see if he could get it done right your rude little manager asked only if we had dared take pictures of your signage. He was in no mood for your little attitude. You blew it. I am posting these pictures and my little story and telling everyone I know. And thanks to my job, honey, I know a lot of people from here and not.
You should have swallowed your pride, missy, and just been nice. Now its too late and you will learn to treat your next customers with respect. Have a nice day.

hi bushs critics. my name is bethanie and i work at a bush's is copperas cove and i have for about a year.. the owner of my store now has a 1800number you can call for your complaints, maybe you should look into how to get one for your local bush's. and on the other hand, it is fast food people, you can expect the same kind of thing if you go to bush's mcdonalds or burger king, if you dont feel like complaining go to a five star resteraunt.!

I have a complaint that compares to the customer service one above. I eat a bush's on a regular basis even though they get it wrong more times than not. I pull up they take my order without writing it down, and inevitably get it wrong 50% of the time. On top of that, I order the same thing all the time, and inevitably I am charged a different price each time. Yes I have gone to the manager and he says inevitably Ill get it fixed. I then ask him how a 2 piece dark add a breast for this price on menu is charged usually higher than menu (they charge me for a 3 piece white). His response is If we dont charge it that way we lose money. I have been charged from $4.90-$8.20. My thoughts are false advertisement, being ripped off, etc etc...Now I'm trying to find out how to get it fixed if the manager cant fix it. Local newspaper says its not an issue for them so if anybody has any ideas, I would appreciate any help.

How about next time, you go inside and complain to the manager so they can actually fix the problem instead of posting something that will make people reconsider all Bush's Chicken just because of this one Spanish speaking lady. Seriously.
