When U-verse came into Orlando last year to install cable junctions. they had to do some digging on residential lawns. There is an area 10 X 15 or 150 square feet of dirt where once a beautiful lawn was. ThiMy address is 7734 Bridgestone dr., Orlando, Fl. 32835 and the dsame with my neighbor right accross the streen at 7700 Rollingridge Ct. Orlando 32835. While ther were dighging a company called Mastec was doing the contracting for A.T.T and they said they would replace damage, has not happeded. yet. It has been impossible to find someone helpful at A.T.T..

I have damage to my dresser on the corner where both Tech's worked. I still have no U-Verse service after two tech were there for a total of 10 hours. One tech couldn't figure out how to install and blamed my wiring. The second tech came out and stated that the first tech just was not qualified and didn't know how to proceed. The second tech was not given the total work order for my house. He was only given the internet and not the 2 TV's to install. Therefore, weeks later I have no U-Verse and a broken dresser. The 3rd tech that was supposed to arrive on Saturday between 1-3, never showed up or called. This was handled by a manager, who also said that he would call me back on Friday and never did. I have never had this poor of customer service. I even worked for DIRECTV prior to them merging with AT&T and everything has just gone down hill. If my services are not completed Saturday morning between 8-11, I am canceling all of it and going with Spectrum. I want my dresser replaced, this was $1, 000 from Pier One purchased less than one year ago. Saddens me that such a large company has taken just a bad turn in their customer service.

They damaged my sprinkler system and left a few big holes in my yard with piles of dirt. My yard has not been watered and it is 100 degrees here in Texas. Everyday I call and I receive no answer. This is appalling service for AT&T.

I am currently experiencing the same problems as the others. AT&T started in January, 2012 and finished May, 2012 but the lawn has sunken in about 6-8 inches, sod as died since they placed new sod on top of old grass that was dug up. I have called [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected] to no avail. I cannot walk on my lawn to check my plantings due to fear of falling into the uneven and sunken lawn area which is about 6' x 6'. I have tlked to Ruby, Joe, Quinton, Josh, Joe, Bryan, Cece, Mr. Brown, Amid, Chantay, Ashley and others and definitely have not gotten anywhere. I want that job so I could transfer customers to another phone all day long. I am currently waiting for someone to answer the hold I am on.
I continue to pursue until this problem is resolved, I will not let it rest until the job is completed to my satisfaction. Do AT & T customers get a discount if they have AT & T wires and pipes buried in their front and back yards?

I called [protected] and att asked for my area code, city st and the next three numbers of a nearby telephone number, I gave my address and was given a ticket number and a date within one week to fix a 7' x 3' area were they dug to repair a line. The "repair" option is the one you will dial on your key pad once the [protected] is called!
good luck

Last November ATT had a subcontractor excavate a 6ft x 6ft x 6ft hole in my front lawn at the curb line. This was during a week of heavy rains. The sub gave me the phone number of the project foreman at AT&T. He did not return either of my messages asking about ATT contacts if there was settling over the winter.

Now the lawn needs repair. I've made six calls since January to the repair call center and two to the risk management group. Each time, the help desk has left messages for the appropriate person at ATT to contact me. The call center numbers are [protected] and [protected]. Risk management at [protected] is a waste of time since they refer you back to the same call centers. If you call, ask for a case# or ticket number which will serve to document their failure to respond. ATT does a good job of avoiding issues like this and is most likely successful in saving money by frustrating the customers until they give up.

My plan and recommendation is to give the sub contractor notice that I am filing suit in small claims court. I have photos of the excavation showing their trucks. The ATT ticket numbers will help document that you requested repair to the damaged area and that ATT was unresponsive.
