I too received one of these letters today, devastated after looking up on the internet to find out that this letter is fraudulent i hope someone can figure out a way to lock these people up. I am in a financial hardship with many kids and thought god had answered my prayers and would be able to share with many loved ones that are going through the same thing right now. People need to start thinking before they do unfortunately $11.89 is alot to some people and i have a very large family and it is too bad that we really share the united states of america with animals like this that keep getting rich by ripping people off, while the rest of us struggle to do things the right way and work our selves to death just to make ends meet its so sad that this is what it has come to dishonesty. And to those that had this happen to you i didn't even do it but i am so sorry that this happened. May god bless each and everyone of you.

I have received four of these letters asking to send money amounting to $11.89 to $23.89. Two of the letters were from Larry Hourd and two from Mourly Smith. I know now this is a scam. Why do you have to send money if you have won money. These people need to have their operation shut down and reported to the Federal Government. Thank you for your comments. Donald R.

I will tell you, if any of you send money, you idiots, plain and simple.. if you win money you do not NEED to send nothing. . if you get one of these thrown it away and make sure you rip it apart, making sure your address or name is totally gone.

This is clearly federal mail fraud and should be prosecuted. I would not doubt is there isn’t someone watching the box. I am going from one site to anouther that is sharing my personal information and getting it removed. I always forward the emails to the feds, It is you duty as a citizen,

This just reinforced the saying that my grandma used to tell me "if it appears to good to be believable it usually is"..Don't be gullible!
I just shredded it put to pieces in the envelope and sent back ...well worth the stamp it cost...LOL! If everyone did it that would send a message..

I just received the same letter stating I had won 1, 327, 940.00 one lump check or 30 year annuity of of a total of 2, 000, 000.00 No way, then ask for 12.99 payable to ANC. right away that notes a scam. what do these people think we are all stupid or something. First I didn't enter anything, yes one big scam. Is there no way to stop letters like this especially to the elderly, which I am, and it could be very easy to fall for.
first they state you are a winner, then further in the letter states IF you are the winner, what does that tell you. RIP off, , of course. dont t be fooled by people like this. written SCAM all over the letter. Thanks Marie

Just received my Award letter from AWARD NOTIFICATION COMMISSION, P.O. Box 2905, KANSAS CITY, KS 66110 ... It states my name, Congratulations, You Have Just Won $1, 327, 940.00 ... and the Cash Funds will be paid directly to you by your option of a lump sum check for $1, 327, 940.00 or a larger sum-amount of $2, 000, 000.00 to be remitted by annual payments of $66, 666.66 per year for 30 years. (Note: No taxes are withheld and no commissions are due or expressed as a condition of accepting the AWARD of CASH FUNDS through this letter.) ... In addition and with extending honors on these formal proceedings, we are thrilled to announce and addendum of Premium Offer: $2, 500.00 gift certificate for up to 75% off WONrewards.com online merchandise and service offerings. Confirm your acquisition by outright option NOW by securing receipt and delivery of this PREMIUM Offer registered in your name for direct handover. An Acquisition FEE for Premium Offer is due and must be enclosed as required for $12.99 payable to the office of ANC.. Enclose your remittance by cash, check, or money order...

I do believe this is nothing more than a SCAM that seriously needs to be SHUT DOWN and soon. I was almost suckered in until I did a little research and found out that others have been told the exact same thing by that "LARRY HOURD Executor of Awards."

The ONLY Sweepstakes I enter is the Publishing Clearing House Sweepstakes and they do not give you such a for-warning if you win they just show up on your door step...

I sure could use $2, 000, 000.00 but I am not foolish enough to believe Larry Hourd is going to make that happen for me ... There should be a class action lawsuit against him for scamming people who truly need their money. And if there is Please add me to the list of people he has tried to SCAM...

I received today a letter from Larry Hourd, commissioner of judging division award notification commission with PO Box 2905, Kansas City, KSK 66110 winning a jackpot award of $1, 327, 940.00 IF MY NUMBER MATCHES THE PRE-SELECTED WINNING NUMBER. I have two options--Option A total payment $1, 327, 940.00 or Option B 30 year Payment disbursed annually by check $66, 666.66 per year for 30 years or electronic wire transfer of funds to a bank account.

The $11.89 was the price of a crystal pendant it is offering to sell. Payment is required before item is shipped. No purchase is necessary.

THIS IS THE BIGGEST SCAM EVER!

evidently, the people writing above did not carefully read what they received. this is just a marketing tool like publishing house does. publishing house offers magazines and other household items, some of which i found useful and cost just a fraction if i buy them at amazon or elsewhere. no i have not won anything from publishing house all these years but i am very pleased with what i have bought so far. and no, i do not purchase each time i receive their mailing, either. but i just ordered two of a product that would have cost me more if i had ordered them from amazon. nice thing too as i only pay after i receive them.

i sent in my entry without any order.

Over the past 70 days, I received not one, but Nine "Winners" letters - claiming I had won a $2, 000, 000.00 prize from ANC - All in the same day. What can be done about this fraudulent behavior? I am aware that scams happen all the time and by many forms. As consumers were must always be on alert, however, who are we to go to, if for anything, to stop wasting the postmasters time and ultimately clear up the junk mail filling by mailbox. I believe the Federal government may have a way to stop them through USPS Postal laws and statues. If there is a class action suit in progress, count me in.

I just received the same letter. It says I won $2, 000.000.00 and to send $12.99. That was a red flag for me. Also it said I was confirmed the winner, but throughout it said if I was a winner. The only sweepstakes I applied for that was $2, 000, 000.00 was publishers clearing house and they say that they never send anything and only show up at your door. I would like to file a complaint. How do I go about it. I would like to join with others and press charges against people like this. I know this is illigal and not sure why they have been allowed to do this for so long. Some of the complaints go back to 2011 and lots of people sent money. If there is a lawsuit. Please include me.
