Recently they or Medicare has offered this healthcare manager, which is supposed to help you. However, I’ve had 3 in nearly as many months. None have been able to do even the most simplest of things I’ve asked for, including when my next appointment is! I have a skin condition that has not even been seen, as in each appointment, you can only be seen for one condition or one procedure! I’ve asked the recent Health Care Manager to find out when my next appointment will be, so far no response. So this is in fact a big nothing. Last year, I did have a counselor there by the name of Hight (pronounced like the word, ‘height’) who told me I would never change my life for the better. I’m very depressed and need someone to talk to. I’ve been homeless, because of an unfair eviction, and find CHA has not been able to relieve my back pain. I feel there is no communication with the doctor, who last year commented on my looking ‘great,’ I’d had covid, during which time I received no healthcare and was seen by no medical practitioner, and later I self-detoxed from more than a decade of taking oxycondone daily.

I feel there must be better healthcare than this! I’ve made an appointment with a counselor at WellCare which I guess is connected to the horrible Renown Hospital, but not only did they not honor the appointment, but I was told the counselor no longer was with them, and the address I was given was wrong. So far, I’ve had 2 numbers from them to call, one is a Southern Nevada number and the other number is local but disconnected. Apparently it is not possible to connect with them by text.

My other problem is rotting teeth, many teeth are still hurting, but the last time I used the CHA dentist I got a sadist — and hopefully she’s not on the staff anymore — as this was pre-pandemic — but last I used them they could only tackle something like 1/8th of the problem, and I need something more comprehensive. At present, I need either implants or dentures and would like someone to help me with sorting out possible medicare/Medicaid programs perhaps that would help me as I’m unable to pay anything extra out of paying for bills, food, rent, and other daily necessities. I’m 71 years old and don’t feel any of my health problems are being met, and this doctor I’m afraid has become disengaged with me personally perhaps from the way I’ve reacted to their inept staff!
