These guys are a bunch of crooks, they steal money from subcontractors and cause problems for owners in the form of liens and complaints by subcontractors. These Crooks David Schatzberg and Mark Provenzano failed to pay us over $25, 000 and it took us over 6 months to get over $40, 000 that they owed us. They are every subcontractors' nightmare, do them an excellent job and they keep a good chunk of your money at the end of the job. These guys are really Crooks, watch out for them, keep away from them especially now when money is tight. They will bid the job low and keep the subs' money to make their profit.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I can tell you what is true--Mark Provenzano owes an architecture firm $11, 000 through his company Caspian/Columbian Construction. He put a Michigan address (which turned out to be a UPS box) on the contract to make it seem like this company did business in Michigan, when really he was just avoiding paying bills he owed. The project owner paid Caspian/Columbian for the architecture services--and Caspian pocketed the money. Its now been 6 months and nothing.

This is entirely TRUE..David Schatzberg absolutely, 100% has no control of where the money goes in that company...He is not a owner just an employee (Project Manager) He is owed thousands and thousands of dollars personally from lack of payroll and is no longer an employee..hence why he no longer returns phone calls. This is slander of an innocent persons name!
