SCAM! FRAUD! I never thought I'd fall for an online scam, but... here I am, reporting one :( I paid 4.79 GBP for what I had hoped to be a service providing me with an unlocking code for my phone, and all I got was what could at most be described as an "opinion", giving "advice" on how to unlock your phone in various other ways which anyone could think of themselves, without having to pay money for. I have made a complaint to a Customer protection agency, but I doubt I'll see my money back or have the website shut down. :(

This is an internet scam web site that promises to send the consumer unlock codes for mobile phones via internet at discount prices but send you useless information about where to go next to get a code, so they take your money and do not provide the service they promised. This site should be avoided at all costs. If you try to contact them the page just says it is not authorised.

What a a waste of money. they implied that I would be sent an unlock code, instead I was sent useless information such as, try a market stall holder. and I paid 3.99 for this. makes me sick. some of us have to work hard for our money, I feel they are getting away with theft. do not use them at all is my advice.

It's a scam. they lure people into thinking to pay for mobile unlock code but, that's not what you get and they charge your credit card twice even four times.

I have also been scammed by this company. I contacted Consumer Direct, Trading Standards, Action Fraud, BBC Watchdog and BBC You and Yours. Not one of these bodies has taken any interest although they do now make clear that there is every chance you may not get an unlock code from them -- this isn't actually just the possibility the site claims, it quite simply DOES NOT offer unlock codes. Avoid at all costs. I had to have my credit card company reverse the charge and cancel my card as they told me this company charges cards multiple times. For abuse enquiries contact abuse@123-reg.co.uk and abuse@solarvps.com. The former will simply tell you they cannot take any action as the domain is not hosted by them, just registered, and the latter will get you a refund, but claim the site is reputable and they have never had any other complaints!

www.code2unlock.com is a fraudulent site.
Soon after you pay, you will receive an 'unlocking report' by email - however, you will never ever receive the unlocking code that you actually paid for. I have cancelled my bank card, but they still managed to take the money from my account. The only thing to once this has happened is to tell your bank to dispute the transaction with the site owner's bank.
Good luck peoples.

Same experience. I thought I was quite savvy and fell for this. Check sites out before you make purchases with your credit/debit cards. I cancelled mine a day after the transaction.
Evidently, code2unlock.com are nothing other than thieves. Purchase unlocked phones/mobile broadband devices so as not to go hunting after codes that result in being sent a "report" by email and not the code you thought you'd purchased. ...-, back to school...for now.
