After posting the last message about Gregg still owing me 1500 and the fact that they might do a news story on him, he was kind enough to call me and remind me that he paid me some money back. Yes that is true Gregg you paid me back half. But the fact is you still owe 750$. You said you would call me by the 20th. Today is the 21st(yet another empty and broken promise). I promised you I would file charges on you today. I too have to break my promise, unlike you I have to work all day today. So charges will be filed tomorrow. You can call me at 727324one don't call from a blocked number. Your only reason for calling should be to tell me you have my money. Don't call me for any other reason.

Hey guys I got the local news(WHAS11) interested in doing a story on Gregg. They want 2 or 3 people to interview. Im not sure if this will help us get or money back, but... it will expose Gregg and maybe prevent others from getting scammed. If any one is interested please call or email me.

Does any one have any updates on Gregg. I used to have 5 or 6 different phone numbers for this ###. But they are all disconnected now. Only number that i have that works is his daddies phone number, but he tells me Gregg no longer lives there. I am in the process of filling charges, but am waiting on getting some records from the bank from when he cashed the check, over 6 months ago. I am also interested to see if the local media would pick up on this story. I know the like to expose guys like Gregg. If anyone has filed charges on him in Louisville please let me know. This Complaint board is so correct Everything written here is 100 percent on Target about Gregg McDonald and his so called business ethics are ridiculous Every Story I read is exactly how he operates and STEALS FROM BUISNESS AND HOMEOWNERS It is amazing that he uses so many stories and tactics to stall after receiving money knowing full well he never intends to honor any agreement verbal or written.With this many Scams being pulled off on customers it will catch up with him and his so called employees.Especially when he could have a successful relationship with paying customers if he indeed did any of the work he promised all these folks.I hope justice is served soon as Orange is definitely his color. This community will not stand for the disregard he shows paying customers who only expect what they paid for.It sounds like you really do not want him or his crew working on your windows.

I have had the same experience as most of the people described on this page. I was helping my father renovate one of his rental units, and stumbled on to Gregg's name. He came to the house glanced at the windows and gave me a fair price. He said to write the check to his personal name. I though that was fishy, but also realized that this could help me in the long run.I am NOT a lawyer, but in my understanding if a personal check is cashed, without me getting the windows, it would be theft, and because of the dollar amount, it would be a felony. He told me the windows would be here in one week... Exactly one week latter the excuses started, day after day it was something new. First the weather, then delivery truck issues, then family members in the hospital. I talked to a lawyer and he told me that, it was indeed a felony theft. Since he has already filed a bankruptcy, he could not file another one. I contacted Gregg and explained that I would be filing criminal charges. A few hours latter his father called me, and asked me to give him some time before filing charges. He said he would call me the next day, and present a solution. I explained to him that at this point i do not see a possible solution besides me getting my money back. His dad never called me again. Again i called Gregg and informed him that i would be going to court the following day to file charges. The next day he called me and told me he was on the way to his lawyer to figure out how to pay me back. He asked for my lawyers name and number and said that his lawyer would contact mine. Later that day i received a call from my attorney who told me I would be receiving my money on the 14th of February. Today is the 5th of February, my thoughts are about 50/50 on receiving my money back. But i am 100% sure that if i do not get my money i will be in court on the 15th filing criminal charges!

mod11_99, you will never get your money or windows. Greg is in the process of bankruptcy. He goes to court Sept. 14 @ 2:30 at the Federal Building in New Albany, In. He also owes me about $6, 000, money I will never see! What an experience this has been, and a hard lesson learned! Someone needs to sue him for fraud, I know 2 ladies that he took their money and they never got their windows or door. I am in the process of getting info to file this with the prosecutors office. If I can't get my money back, he ought to spend some time in jail and think of what he did to everyone!

As I stated earlier above - all the windows have been pulled and have been stored in a safe place. Each window has been documented by pictures while it was still in the "frame". I would imagine you have our record on file showing exactly how many windows you "installed" and I used "installed" very loosely.

You are such a lair Chris! Memory serves me well with this whole situation - Greg McDonald getting in my facing yelling at me and pointing his finger at me. Trying to tell me the reason there is a 3 inch gap at the top of the window was for expansion of the window. If that's true they all would have had it, not just the ones that didn't fit! The judge saw the pictures of my house and couldn't believe it! All my windows were placed on my windowsills not back in the original place of the old window! I now have 1" windowsills instead of 4". To this day I still don't have a bedroom window I paid for. I was awarded my $6000.00 but I'll never see a penny of it because Mr. McDonald is filing bankruptcy on 9-14-11 at 2:30 p.m. So if anyone out there has problems you need to show up at the Federal Court House in New Albany on this date and state your claim!

My name is Chris Ayers. Myself and 3 other installers went to Miss V''s home to fix any issues she had regarding her windows. We were met at the door with her telling us she wanted no part of how we were going to fix them and escorted us to the door.

Greg - You assured us that everything you did was approved. You were quite the actor, even calling me with your great idea of putting all the windows in on the inner part of the frame. Would you like to buy all your windows back since they all had to be pulled? I now see that we are not the only ones taken advantage of. How do you sleep at night?

What a joke that you have the nerve to write this crap when you are going to file bankruptcy tomorrow! Yeah Greg I found out about the bankruptcy and I will be there tomorrow, funny you didn't have my address to mail me anything about it, but you sure had it on my paperwork and check when you took it... $6000.00 ring a bell!

Anyone with a complaint regarding Clear Choice Windows need to contact Greg Or Matt at [protected] or fax [protected]. There is also a contact form on our website. None of these claims have been presented to our office and we will gladly look into them. The screen in question above---we notified a third party and offered to pay for a new screen. Also, the customer never paid for wrap and caulk. As far as the customer claiming to have information on an employee not receiving hourly wages----NO employee for Clear Choice has EVER been paid by the hour. Any customer not receiving product in a timely manner after a dep0sit is made is the nature of this business. After the wettest spring on record, luckily we were able to keep up with the demand and have hundreds of satisfied customers. The claim of the permit in an historical district. The BUILDER is responsible for all permits and if you read the back of your contract, Clear Choice relies on the customer to obtain proper permits where necessary. Since none of this has ever been brought to my attention, it is impossible to remedy. We strive to ensure everyone is happy with our product and service.

We had a terrible experience with Greg McDonald last year. Windows took months and months to be installed. Many excuses were made, none of them true. We just had a real professional inspect his work and were told that the windows are useless, it is the worst installation job they have ever seen, and Mr. McDonald did the work without a permit (the renovation property is in the historical district), which he had claimed to have. I too ordered windows from Greg McDonald at Clear Choice Windows. He took a 50% deposit down from me in November 2010, and as of June 2011, my windows have still not been installed. I have made several attempts to contact him, and when I did finally reach him, I was cussed out as well. What did I do wrong to deserve that? I spoke with someone who used to work for him and he said the way he does business is to take a 50% deposit down from the customer, and he rarely finishes the job. He also owes this employee money for hours worked but never paid. My suggestion to you all is to do all you can to get your money back. The guy is filing bankruptcy, and I want to take a stand against him. Its not right to treat people like this.

Same here, we ordered in November got installed week of Christmas, was supposed to come back and caulk and wrap windows, and bring back a broken screen. Cussed out many times by him. Windows got caulked and wrapped by spouse but still not screen. If you find him let us know, he will probably be sueing also.
