I took possession of a new 2020 Silverado on 1/29/2020 (just 45 days or so before the worldwide pandemic began). My vehicle had a standard 36,000mi/36 month warranty. In January of 2023, with only about 33,000 miles, about two weeks before it had 36 months, I contacted the dealer from which I purchased the Silverado to have the radio/multimedia unit & main screen checked. I told them I was concerned that the 36 months was almost up. The Dealer said they could not get me in before the actual 36 month date, but not to worry about the time since purchase warranty for the failed component. They didn't check it until February 9, 2023 and confirmed the radio/multimedia unit had and internal failure and needed replacing. THEN they told me the vehicle was out of warranty for ten days and the repair would be well over $1,000. I had specifically contacted the dealer 13 days prior to the end of the 36 months to avoid this contention. Now the dealer was splitting hairs. It's Chevrolet that should honor this failed component. This device was never mistreated and not even used much, as most of my 36 month warranty was during the worldwide pandemic when regular life was slowed and stopped in many cases. I need help contacting Senior Management at Chevrolet and to obtain repair for this hardly used Chevrolet that should've been repaired by honoring the warranty. I am attachiing a screen shot of my call log. One of the Chev dealer management asked me to prove I had call on Jan 20th 2023. I sent him this screen should in Feb 2023. I quoted his service manager telling me that warranty time would not be and issue (until they found out the unit was really failed as I stated).

Desired outcome: Chevrolet Motor Division should authorize (I.E. compensate) a Chevrolet dealer near me to replace the failed multimedia & main screen unit in my Silverado
