Carter-Young On May 26, I received a PAID IN FULL letter from Carter and Young that clearly states I am to be released from all claims and liabilities

On May 26, I received a PAID IN FULL letter from Carter and Young that clearly states I am to be released from all claims and liabilities relating to the debt. But when I tried to apply for an apartment, I was rejected due to the file showing up on the report. When I called the company, a woman (who refused to give me her name) was extremely rude, refused to answer my questions, then effectively pushed me off the phone and hung up on me. The second time I called, I asked for an update on how to quickly resolve the situation as my debt was already paid. Yet the only response I received was that a report was sent once a month. I asked if they could send the receipt to equifax since they need confirmation from the company and they said "why don't you do that yourself." I asked when the report would be sent (so I know when I can apply) they stated that they could not tell me or find out and once again hung up. I am a student & need this fixed ASAP so I have a place to live.

This complain is due to the negative marks made by your company on my credit file. I would be willing to accept this debt if it were mine and upon Validation and Proof of Claim but its not mine and theres no way that you can validate it. So let it be known that I am requesting full validation of this debt. I demand that you take action to this matter because it is causing me a lot of stress lately. Please remove this negative account in my credit report. The value of my credit worthiness is at stake.

Carter-Young I moved into an apartment complex in November, my lease was to end November

I moved into an apartment complex in November, my lease was to end November. I ended up moving in September due to the fact that I had a roommate at the time to help with rent and she was moving out. I explained this to the complex and was taken to court for breaking the lease early. However at court we had a mediator and it was agreed so long as I was out by the end of the month I would be fine, no penalty. I moved out within the time frame, and in late 2019 discovered I had a collection from ***. I received no notices NOTHING. Not to mention there should've been no balance to have placed into a collection agency. Gabriel Courts (the complex name) and the surrounding sister company don't even exist anymore because the person that owned them went out of business, as he had been charged with money laundering. There was no physical damage to the apartment. The only "damage" was the walls that had been painted. They were neutral colors as well, nothing crazy

I lost my wallet in the parking deck of the airport years ago. Once i got to the terminal i realized i did not have my wallet which contained my id,social security card passport card, credit cards, bank cards, cash etc. I IMMEDIATELY back traced my steps but when i got to the area where my car was parked, my wallet was gone. When I checked my credit report for the first time on January this year, I discovered that there are accounts there that are not mine, addresses I never resided and inquiries I never made. I have contacted all of the creditors to make them aware of this issue. I also found these accounts that I believe not mine:Acct name: *** (Original Creditor: MILAN EYE CENTER)acct no. ***date opened 10/01 balance $236.00 Acct name: *** (Original Creditor: NORTH ATLANTA PRIMARY CARE)acct no. ***date opened 06/01 balance $106.00 I am not liable for this debt and I do not have a contract with:Company: *** Address: *** Tel No: *** Police Report and FTC Affidavit are attached with this complaint together with dispute letter sent to the bureaus. I also filed complaints thru CFPB. Please delete these accounts from my credit report at once. Any questions or concerns I can be reached at *** and email at phairahbey@icloud.com.I need a response from the company.

I just paid a medical collection account in full with this company (Confirmation #***) in the amount of $1019, and asked if the account will be removed from my credit report. I was told no that they don't do pay for deletion; however, upon researching I found a copy of the attached image on a website which has me questioning am I being discriminated against where they do the removal for some, but not others.

Carter Young has been practicing predatory business practices. I have no knowledge of this company and I'm not sure how my personal information was involved or received. Furthermore, with them having my information is illegal and goes against my consumer rights. This company is claiming I owe an alleged debt that I does not belong to me. This Account is confusing and reporting so many different ways which is also illegal. They have the wrong person and I would like for them to remove this illegal account from my credit report immediately. This is giving me anxiety because I am a responsible adult and I don't know where this account came from. Please help in assisting me with this matter.

After a recent review of my Consumer Credit Reports, I noticed a Collection Account opened on 5/21 by the above listed company. Not only have I never engaged in any business of any sort with this company or any of their affiliates, but they have reported false and inaccurate medical information to the consumer reporting agencies. Their actions have violated and blemished the reflection of my character and have prevented me from furthering my attempts to secure adequate necessities of living. My rights as a consumer granted by the Fair Credit Reporting Act as well as my privacy granted by the *** laws have been violated and infringed upon. I am seeking assistance from the complaintsboard.com to resolve this action of defamation and help restore my financial character to reflect a true and accurate depiction of me.

Carter-Young I was looking at my credit report and noticed this company on there

I was looking at my credit report and noticed this company on there. I do not know who they are and have never entered any agreement with them. I demand to see an original contract with my signature showing I have a legal obligation to pay them a debt. I also want to see a copy of the agreement they have with their client to collect this alleged debt. I know that the *** says collectors can buy debt but they CAN NOT purchase my private information. My name, address is all private! I have never given this company permission to report ANY information to a credit bureau and I have never personally given them my private information. I want to know if their client made an insurance claim for this alleged debt and if their client can provide proof they sent me a ***c since they canceled this debt! Additionally the info is not consistent across the 3 bureaus and the *** says if it is not 100% accurate it must be deleted. I am the only person that can validate and account and I do NOT validate this. DELETE THIS FROM MY CONSUMER REPORTS NOW! I also want the company to cease and desist communication with me through all mediums!

Carter-Young Deletion request, please

Deletion request, please. 1st. I received two different collections letters one from Carter-young acct # XXXXXXXXX and the other company I will not mention name but account number XXXXXXXXX. I contacted both companies and both stated they were collecting for Northwest ENT Associates. I then contacted Northwest to find out why after I paid in full, I was being charged. I spoke with Jackie Jones. I was advised of amount past due. I now have been reported to collection, for $590.00 and bill is $589.55. I contacted Carter-young and advised not sure if amount is correct being I did make an out of pocket expense for a biopsy for cancer, for which I didn't have insurance at the time and I still made as what I thought a full payment. So now I have paid Carter-young in full and requested a deletion and was advised no. I asked was there anything I could do, good faith for removal and was advised no. This being on my credit report for 7 years for a bill I clearly thought I paid in full at time of service, which is what the sign say at Dr. office. I am asking that a deletion of collection is removed. This whole process has been unethical and unprofessional.

Carter-Young I paid off a $342 dictor bill to North Atlanta Primary office , it was not to be listed on my credit report

I paid off a $342 dictor bill to North Atlanta Primary office , it was not to be listed on my credit report. Please remove immediately . I notice a "PAID" collection on my credit report.I called North Atlanta Primary in Johns Creek office they confirmed I paid$342 and to call Carter-Young them with the request to remove. I then called Carter- Young Inc on 8/20 I explained to the lady ( not listing name)the amount owed was paid directly to North Atlanta office in August not sure why this on my report and I was told by the office it wouldn't reported. The representative stated her records indicated I made payments to the doctor office (I only made my office to make payments to the office ). I then proceeded to ask can this be removed? It should of never been reported .She said "no " and stated the consumers always think when they pay a bill they have rights "you have 7 years and it will come off she even laughing as I am asking as though it was a joke.)I got off the phone immediately when she made that statement .My lively hood is not a joke Carter -Young ! All I am asking is for Carter -Young INC is to please remove this from my credit report.

Carter-Young Inaccurate Information of an account I supposedly owe to Hargray

Inaccurate Information of an account I supposedly owe to Hargray. I DO NOT owe this! Carter Young is attempting to collect a balance they say I owe to Hargray in the amount of $224.24. When I told the person on the phone that I do not owe this bill I was told it is MY responsibility to prove them wrong and they have zero requirements to prove the debt they are to collect is valid or correct nor do they have any responsibility to prove the information they are falsely reporting to the credit bureau is accurate. I have called Hargray customer service multiple times to try and get this issue resolved and each time I spend a minimum of 2 hours on the phone to have them tell me I owe $0 and they have no idea why this collection agency is involved or reporting a balance to the credit bureau as a collection account. Hargray tells me they will need to investigate and call me back but no one ever calls me back, hence another call to the to only get the same response. This is a never ending cycle with Hargray saying I owe nothing and Carter Young refusing to accept any responsibility for the information they are reporting or getting it deleted from my credit bureau files.

Carter-Young Debt added to credit report without actually having debt I previously had hargray services at the barracks , however I was being overcharged for

Debt added to credit report without actually having debt I previously had hargray services at the barracks , however I was being overcharged for the plan I originally signed up for. Because of this I chose to terminate my services with hargray and paid my last bill. I had downloaded the credit karma app to check my credit score and shockingly noticed a collections from Carter Young Inc(whom I've never interacted with) detailing the original creditor as Hargray Communications (old Internet provider) however I do not owe them any money and paid my balance in full on my final month of service as discussed with. The debt placed on my credit Report is incorrect as I do not owe hargray inc any money, I am asking for the deletion of this debt from my account because it is incorrect and hurting my score. I am currently on deployment and attempting to purchase a home when I return to the US and this collection is hurting my account with money I do not owe. I understand that mistakes happen and have contacted hargray several times to try and resolve this and have been told that I have a 0.00$ balance only to realize on the call that I have to resolve this issue with Carter Young

Carter-Young I have received collection letters from Carter-Young, Inc

I have received collection letters from Carter-Young, Inc. for debt owed to Puretalk USA, and continuous debt settlement phone calls. I never received this *** from Puretalk USA, and never owed debt to Puretalk USA. Puretalk USA is a prepaid phone company, all their services have to be paid in advance, otherwise there is no services provided. The only possibility about this debt is the discount that Puretalk USA gave to us when we purchased a phone from them. We had been a customer for Puretalk USA for several years. when US changed to 5G system, we were shopping for a 5G phone and we received an offer from Puretalk saying we were long term customer so they gave us $120 coupon for our new phone purchase from them. I called the company asked about using the coupon and talked them if we still can terminate our services in the future and the answer was yes any time. They did NOT say we have to pay the coupon back if we change services. Therefore, I purchased a phone using the coupon, after a month or two, we changed our services to another company. I never received a *** from Puretalk USA. I consider these collection letters and phone calls to be a source of harassment to myself. I do NOT have time to deal with these harassments. I ask Complaintsboard.com to help me by contacting *** to stop these harassment actions, and guarantee that my credit history will not be affected and to apologize for their mistakes by a letter.I appreciate Complaintsboard.com's help. If you have any questions, please contact me at ***.

Carter-Young Consolidated *** in *** in Georgia have been continuing to break the law, via Fair Debt Collection

Consolidated *** in *** in Georgia have been continuing to break the law, via Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) violations. Once made aware, I immediately contacted both entities about falsely reporting the amount owed to me, and what they report to credit bureaus. With their unfair credit act practices, neither has voluntarily reported the matter for deletion, and has continued reporting in accurate delinquencies. After viewing other claims on Complaintsboard.com and review platforms, like Yelp...it is clear that these two companies scam consumers into paying debts that aren't real or perhaps have already been paid.*** wants me to pay the $758 to cover another tenants moving expenses. Carter-Young I have disputed an account that they claimed mine but they ignored my investigation request completely and offered no solution

I have disputed an account that they claimed mine but they ignored my investigation request completely and offered no solution. This is a formal complaint against CARTER YOUNG INC located in CONYERS, GA. This company has repeatedly violated my consumer rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and has caused me much unnecessary financial AND mental distress. For starters, they're reporting an erroneous & unverifiable collection account on all 3 of my credit reports, under Equifax, Transunion, and Experian. And not to mention an account in which I've asked for proof of claim and in which they have refused to validate per my request under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Despite my efforts to resolve this unfortunate nightmare for nearly a year now, Carter Young has completely ignored my communications and legal submissions to remove this inaccurate information from my credit reports. I am well aware of the many, many other complaints filed against this company for their illegal and unethical collection practices - disguising themselves under multiple business names and using ILLEGAL collection practices all across the country. Yet, somehow, this company is still in business. This company's unprofessional & negligent behavior has caused lots of serious harm, not only to my ability to establish credit & good interest rates, but also to my character as a Professional and as an individual. Please help me, and the many other consumers just like me, to put a stop to the operation of these unethical & immoral business practices immediately. I sincerely appreciate your time and assistance in this matter and hope to hear from you very soon.

The initial letter that I received a couple years ago is faded and damaged and I would like to have a letter that has all the information readily able to be read clearly should I need this information again in the future. I first called and spoke with one Jackie ***, who I later found out is a manager at this company. She was rude and did not provide her name or any details to her employment with ***; I could have been calling my next door neighbor for all I knew. Her professionalism is lacking in the worst of ways. I finally was able to ASK her for her name at the end of our conversation and she did provide it to me at that time. I asked for a letter for my records, and she told me very bluntly "No. We're not going to send you another letter. You already got one" never mind that it was from years ago and this is STILL an ongoing issue. I told her I would like a current one for my records and again, I was told NO. I told her okay, not wanting to argue and ended the call with her. I called back and got a Ms. Kim Smith. I explained to her that I would like to request a deletion for this account as well as a letter for my own records. Ms. Smith informed me she saw where I had just spoken with Ms. and that they WOULD submit a request for deletion, but that Ms. specifically put an additional note in my account that stated "DO NOT SEND A LETTER". I asked Ms. Smith why is it I cannot get a letter for this current time (XXXX). She stated because they still have to send letters to other people. Some of those people haven't gotten theirs yet. Its just too much to send me a letter since I should have mines from years ago. I explained that I don't understand, it's a one page letter. I asked if they were being hand typed or what the issue really is? She told me no, but that I would not be getting a letter. Granted I understand everyone is working with less hands on deck during this time. I am not expecting to be their top priority, however *** should surely be able to send me a current letter given we are still dealing with this account years after the situation should have been taken care of. I asked if it could be emailed (encrypted) since a lot of places do that to save time and funds. Again I was told no.
