I contacted this company for the purchase and installation of Wood or wood grain tile. When the salesman emailed me to set up the consult he asked

"you are interested in laminate or luxury vinyl correct?" to which I replied

"no, wood or wood grain tile" When the salesman came to my home, I explained that I had a cracked tile and since that existing tile had been discontinued, I was looking to replace it with wood grain tile and or wood. I told him I had dogs that pee on the floor and he told me that tile is a bad option bc the animal urine will get into the grout. He told me wood will be scratched and ruined by dogs. He kept pushing the luxury vinyl and laminate. I told him that I did not like those products and was concerned it would degrade the value of my home. He told me Laminate and vinyl have evolved over the years and that this was the best product for me with the kids and dogs. He told me that with laminate it will have a wood look, but that my dogs can pee on it and my boys can spill on it, that is waterproof and hassle free. He told me that laminate has evolved over the years and that it was a quality product perfect for my million-dollar home. He was the expert so I said fine. He said the other benefits to this flooring is that I would not have to tear up my existing tile and I would not need unsightly transition pieces. Ok. So, when the installers arrived, they asked me why the tile was not taken out and they said that I never should have been told that I could keep my existing tile. So now I had to pay an additional $3500 to remove the existing tile, losing one of the benefits that they used to sell me this flooring.

Within 2 months, the flooring started severely lifting in five places and now seems like it is starting to life in numerous other areas. I had them come back to look at this issue and NOW they tell me this flooring cannot get wet and that is why it was lifting. When I told them that they sold this product as a waterproof product, they NOW say that Kevin, one of the installers simply installed it incorrectly and that is why the floor is lifting. They said they can cut the planks and cover the cuts with the transition pieces that I did not, and do not want. I cannot have flooring in my home with the pool, dogs and children that cannot hold up to water and accidents. They told me that I could not have afforded the wood or wood grain tile. They called me a liar when I told them I had the money for any type of flooring when I first contacted them. I told them I had received a 500,000 inheritance which was in my bank at the time I hired them and affordability was never an issue. I sent him my bank statement after he told me again to stop lying. What WAS an issue is that I earmarked all those funds for other projects and investments after relying on their estimate. What I told them after they came to install this floor was that I did not have the money to suddenly pay for removing the tile - I had to rearrange my budget to make it happen. These men refuse to tell me if they have an ROC #. I hired Carpent Direct of Arizona but on my estimate is a name "affordable flooring and design" and they have refused to tell me who that is and I have asked for all my paperwork four times and as of this writing they refuse and/or have failed to give me a copy of my signed paperwork.

I had a licensed contractor come to my home on July 23rd to inspect the floor. He told me it was "gross negligence" for this company to install this type of flooring in my home with my lifestyle which involves a lot of dog mess, spills, and water tracked in from the pool, overflowing toilets from the boys etc... I was told this product is cheap particle board that will expand in high moisture environments and should never been put in my bathrooms, kitchen and laundry room. My floor is now damaged. I need the flooring I came to them for. They sold me a cheap product that is not designed for my home and I dont have the funds available to go elsewhere. If I have to purchase wood grain tile elsewhere I will but I would like this company to pull out this inappropriate flooring and install the product that I wanted before they pushed me into the purchase of this cheap particle board
