As someone else is mentioning here in another complaint to this scam company, different people in different forums are receiving the same email from these companies asking to remove posts or they will take legal actions. Forums are free and everyone said it is true, they are threatening people, which in my opinion it is illegal.

I dont understand how REED.CO.UK just thinks about money and ignores the bad reputation they're getting by advertising 6 ads a day of each of these scam companies. EA Worldwide Acquisitions, Live or Live Marketing Direct, Galaxy Marketing, Source Marketing, London Marketing Services... thy're all in the same building doing the same.

It is not true some might get a basic salary, you'll be asked to registered as self-employed, working 65h + a week and probably not making enough money to pay your own expenses since they dont cover anything obviously, even if you're asked to go to zone 6.

The email they sent is:

I note with dismay the grossly libellous statements you have made about me on the ‘complaints board’ blog site.
The accusations you have made are serious allegations about my conduct and company.
I have already taken legal advice about these allegations and if you do not remove your post within the next seven days I will have no alternative but to instruct my solicitors to take legal action against you.

I sincerely hope we can resolve this matter without the need for legal action.

They are a pyramid because one person has to build a crew underneath, and every person in that crew will have to do the same, so there is one on top and it keeps growing underneath, with a pyramid shape.

THEY ARE ALL A SCAM, YOU WILL NOT BE A MANAGER EARNING 50K IN 9MONTHS

yes. that's why there are thousands of bad posts on the internet about Carolina Consulting Ltd, Husband Josh Cote's Ea Worldwide Acquisitions, Live Marketing Direct, Green Marketing, London Marketing Services, JTG Consulting, Galaxy Marketing, Horizon, Aspire, Blackcode Marketing, Venus..

you should get a life and a proper job and stop wasting your time as the slave of the fake blonde walking around for nothing while she's having her hair done...

p.s. I have learnt that these types of job adverts are easy to spot. They will have advertise Direct Marketing, Direct Sales, No experience Necessary, typical salaries such as £250-500 OTE weekly, and a description that might sound good but actually has no substance at all, i.e. their descriptions never actually describe what your job role is or anything like that, all they talk about is exciting, lively new sales roles in town centre, etc

I would like to share my horrible experience with Carolina Consulting to warn people from applying for their jobs. Do not waste your time with these kinds of companies. I applied 2 years ago and I was invited to an interview, it seemed to go well and despite me having no experience in sales whatsoever, let alone having an irrelevant degree, the person interviewing me seemed enthusiastic about 'recommending me to his boss' and invited me back for a second interview.
At the 'second interview', myself and the rest of the candidates were asked to fill in a sheet basically repeating everything we had said in our CV, even though we were told to bring our CV along too. We were paired up with another candidate and assigned a member of the company to 'look after us' for the day. We were then told we would be going to a 'new exciting project' nearby. So we left the building and despite asking many questions along the way about the project and what we would be doing, the employee was always very careful in his words to not reveal the fact that all the employees were taking their pairs of candidates to the train station! We were then told to purchase our own train tickets and told that we would be reimbursed! We were taken to some random village at least 30 mins away from MAnchester by train, where the employee who was looking after me told us that they do direct marketing sales door to door. It's then that we found out it was nothing more than a self-employed door to door sales role and that everyday they would ask you to make your own way to random locations around the country using your own funds. We then proceeded going round door to door for a few hours, before stopping off at the local pub where he would then explain how we get paid. Then after a couple more hours the employees all told their candidates they could go home early. He said he would contact me later that night to arrange a third interview. So we had to make our own way home using the tickets we had bought ourselves. When I got back to their building to get my bag, I asked if we would get reimbursed for train journeys and the secretary said no because we would be self employed.
Later that night he rang me to invite me to come back the next day for a third interview. At this third interview he just basically reiterated how enthusiastic he was about recommending me to his boss and asked me to fill in a questionnaire to test if I had understood how the company works etc. We then went through this. He then told me he would recommend me to his boss and asked if I could tell him of any holidays I had planned and when I could start. He then said he would contact me in the next few days. But he never did.
Please don't waste your time applying for these jobs (well, you can apply but I would warn you not to turn up lol). They are liars and lead you on and on with nothing to show for in the end.
I've looked up the company on the internet and found many forums just like this with people describing their experiences with these kinds of companies and it's scary how similar they are and how they do things in the exact same way.

Thank god I have done my research on this company as I have already had my first interview in which I offered no experience in this field and felt as though i could have sold myself better! Stage 2 of the interview process is tomorro in which i was surprised to have found out that they were more than happy to offer me.As it stands I feel a little gutted as ive put a lot of time and effort into this as well as a cost of a new suit!
I think i will turn up tomorro with as many printed out copy's of all the complaints i keep coming across! and give em what for!

As much as I need a job thanks to your post I don't think I will be turning up for the interview. The original advert talked about working in warehouses and face to face customer services nothing about sales. The more research I have done the more the company unraveled. I am ashamed that this has arrived in my city and disgusted that people are taking advantage of people when the are already down.

This has been very informative. Thought I would do some research before my interview I guess I won't be going to my interview with Carolina Consulting tomorrow. Thanks for this post!

Total waste of time. The company is a one person company and the director itself is the interviewer introducing and handshaking with people with a different surname. She has a "virtual office" service with Regus, and uses their common business loungue to interview people and of course talking so loud!
I think all she did is - learn how to interview people.
The director/interviewer will say the company is trading inthe UK for the last 2 years or so, but as a matter of fact if you look up, they are only up and running since the start of the year 2010.
Waste of time - so please do not bother to apply or turn up. This is nothing but a scam, a pyramid scam - as they say on the website, fortunately they are not a "direct marketing company" : LOL
