I have sent reqest form for : Econonmic Hardship/Unemployment Deferment or Forbearance Request to ECSI. I informed ECSI that I am unemployed and collecting unemployment. I sent proof of unemployment and I am being informed in a notice of 60 days delinquent letter that I must send the deferment to stop ECSI from sending my student loand account for collection. I am having a problem with California School of Law. It is an online law school located in California. I was not allowed to register for the Spring 2010 first year law school courses. I was paying monthly payments of $250 and a lump sum fee of $500 at the beginning of the each semester.
I requested to be reinstated and was told that I did not properly submit midterm and final exams within the specified time limit. I was told this after the Spring semester 2010 began. I was unemployed and paying umemployment funds monthly to pay tuition plus buy my own books. I started sending tuition payments to California School of Law in Santa Barbara, California. Then the Law school decided it was going to change the tuition and payment program. I made payments and the Law school kept telling me that it was alright or I had back payments and I had been sending $250 each month.
Now I am receiving notices from California School of Law that they will send my student loan to a collection agency. I inform California School of Law that I am collecting unemployment $196.00 per week. I have a wife, two children, and a niece to support. I am the only person employed. My niece goes to Westchester College and pays tuition with student loans and grant. I would like assistance in finding out why I cannot get the Deferment with the information I send to ECSI and why California School of Law does not allow me a deferment until I find employment. I await your reply.

Did you really say student "loand" agreement, "umemployment" and "I send"?
