Esso - car wash

I used your car wash service at this location at 9:20am on December 28, 2019 as I was attending a funeral and wanted my car to look nice. I did not get out immediately after the wash because, who does that? The Church was a 10 minute drive away and the weather was plus 3 and sunny. I only noticed that there were brush marks and clearly spots missed when I parked my car and got out. (photos if needed). I was upset but there was nothing I could do until after the funeral service. Once home I called the Esso location and asked about there car wash policy to which the gentleman on the phone asked if I could call back in 5 minutes so he could talk to his manager. No problem. I called back in 5 and another lady answered and said that the gentleman I spoke with was outside talking to the manager as we speak if I could call back in 10 minutes. No problem. I only live 2 minutes from the station so I decided it might be easier to just drive back and then they could see what was missed as well. So once I got back to the station I went inside and talked to the gentleman that I had first talked to on the phone. (Around 1:00pm same day) He instructed me to go and talk to the manager who was out side at the entrance of the car wash because something was broken inside the wash. (possibly why areas were missed on my vehicle). I approached the manager with my issue to which she said there was nothing that she could do because it wasn't immediately after my wash even though she acknowledged that there was a part not functioning properly in the wash. I tried reaching head office while I was there but apparently they are only available Monday through Friday from 8 to 4:30 or something like that hence the email. If you look at my account and specifically this location I probably spend $200. + dollars a week in fuel. The "Luxury wash" (not so luxurious) was 10.99. + Hst, 1.43 = $12.42. Really, your going to lose a customer over 12 bucks? This definitely makes me feel undervalued as a customer and could easily have been resolved with a simple re-wash. I will be looking at other options in the area and will definitely boycott this Esso location and possibly all Esso stations in general if nothing is done. This brush style of car wash is extremely flawed and should never have been approved. This is not my first experience with a sub standard wash from this location but it was the last straw and I feel the need to be heard. I challenge you to get a wash here or any brush wash, your manager your CEO whoever and you will see that the design was doomed from day 1. You should have put in a touch less car wash, which is a far superior wash and you would have far More customers and way happier customers. I have trusted Esso for many years but it is way too competitive of a market out there to accept sub standards as a customer. I hope this complaint makes it up the ladder and I really hope that our relationship hasn't come to an end over 12 dollars. Thank you.
