called on 11-05-08 to purchase an atv for my son. Called the number from their website and specifically ordered a red ATV. The guy on the phone assured me that the ATV that would be shipped would be red. On 11-10-08 I received a call from Dominion Freight saying the ATV sent was black. They also sent it to the wrong address. They sent the ATV to Rhode Island instead of centerville, Massachusetts. I called Budget ATVS back and informed them that they sent the wrong ATV as well as sent it to the wrong address. The guy there named "Trevor" became very beligerent and arrogant. He said that he sends out 600 ATVS a day. If a black one was sent than that's the one that I will receive. I told him that I did not pay for an ATV so that he could send me what he wanted. I wanted the color I ordered. He told me that he would call DOMINION FREIGHT and I would not get an ATV at all. These guys are not professional at all whatsoever. He was a disrespectful ###. He has not refunded my money as of yet. and I never received the ATV. I would rather have my money back, than to do business with a guy such as himself, unprofessional and ignorant. I am still waiting for my refund and He purposely scams people out of their money and sends them the wrong item purposely. He also sends it to the wrong address so that he can collect 20% for returning the merchandise. People do not buy from BUDGETATVS he is a scam artist. He will take your money and not send you anything.

this lady is CRAZY...she ordered an atv online her first color choice is red second color choice was black...she called up asking what color was sent ...we told her either her first or second color choice .She went nuts on the phone saying she did not want her second color choice and hung up the phone. Then she called and told us that old dominon showed up with a black atv...LIE they never even went to her house so we cancelled the order and had the unit shippede back to us...turns out is was RED after all! we refunded her credit card and charged her nothing for the shipping.IF we scam customers she would not be the only complaint online...oh well i hope she gets the meds right!

At least you got ahold of someone. I put 2 atvs for my twins for Christmas on layaway online and they charged my card $94. My mother in law wanted to put a payment on them for us so I gave her their number and my order number. A few days later my mother in law called back to tell me that the number was always busy when she tried to call. I also tried to call and if the number isn't busy, then nobody picks up at all, not even a voicemail which would be professional. I have emailed them several times and have gotten no answer. I have given them until noon today to contact me or I am going to do whatever I have to do to get my money back and make sure everyone knows how un-professional they are.

Budget ATVs are crap. Just put ours together this week. Battery will not charge. Had to go buy one. Could not keep it running without the choke being on. Evidently there was trash in the new gas tank that stopped up a jet. Yes I paid to have it repaired locally. Never again.

It's the day before Christmas Eve. We've spent two days trying to get this thing running. Unable to get anyone by phone as the line is always busy.

Don't waste your money. And if your expecting them to be as is described on their site and in their advertisements, you are going to be soooooo dissapointed.

I'm informing everyone I know and who is on my email list.

Just wanted to update. The atv's did arrive. They worked with me to get them here by Christmas and they are perfect starter atv's for my two 6 year olds. They aren't the best quality in the world but for the price, which is 1/2 to 1/3 the price of a name brand atv of this size, they are a great value. They love them and we are very pleased. We will do business with them again.

It's a Chinese made ATV...###'s going to happen. I've dealt with budgetatvs.com before and had problems, but they were always fixed by the support staff. Read the warranty and FAQ section before you purchase, sheesh.

I just bought three atv's off of them and I had no problems at all whatsover, I bought one for me, my wife, and my son and we love them. When we got them putting them together was a blast, and till this day they still run great I have never had any problems with any of them. If I was going to tell someone where to buy there next atv it would definetly be budgeatvs. Me and my neighbors ride all the time and they all have polaris's and they love our 4 wheelers and I can blow them away on my ATA-300H1!

Budget ATV and Half Price ATV are a part of Taotao USA. It is all in the same building and run by Taotao employees. They know about the lower a frames breaking on the 110 and 125 ( I think) and do not want to do anything about it. Look at yours if you have an older one, it may well be cracked and ready to break. And take a look at your VIN number...the tenth digit tells you what year the ATV actually is.. You may have bought a 2009 but were shipped a 2007 or 8...

These guys are a ###ing scam...paid for a atv 20 days ago and they have not even sent it yet. Called their shipping company and they have no record of it being sent...Called to see what was going on and they put me on hold for an hr. I called on a different phone while still on hold...got another guy who said they would take care of it and call back with the tracking...Nothing yet. These people are full of ### and if I dont get something soon...Im calling the local police there. I also work with the FBI and they will get what is coming to them very soon.

BUYER BEWARE!

I can not believe what I'm reading! I so wish I had read this before I contacted this company. I called and spoke to someone about buying replacement parts for my ATV. After not receiving a call or email back, I called again and was treated like I was bothering the employee during his work day. He had horrible customer service skills! I asked to speak with a manager or better yet the owner. A man named Eric McCalister came to the phone and told me he was the owner of the company (all locations in the U.S.). I told him of my frustrations dealing with his customer service, and all I wanted to do was order a part before Christmas. I was not rude, I was not fussing or yelling and used no profanity! He asked me if I had already ordered the part, and I said no. So he says, "So you have not already ordered a part, well mam...you can F*** OFF!" And then he hung up the phone! This has to be the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. When you google anything about this company, it's nothing but horrible reviews and complaints. Funny because all the reviews on their website are all great! Goes to show you can NOT believe the "made up" reviews on a company's website.

DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM BUSGET ATVS. I purchased 2 ATVs for my kids in 2009. They rode them once, and we started having issues. My husband is a certified mechanic. He has worked on everything from military vehicles to building his own motorcycle. So he knows how to fix and repair ATVs and motorcycles. To begin with, the chains were the wrong size, the carburetors were crap, the smaller one that I bought for my daughter POURED gas from the gas cap...we asked for parts, we tried them, we asked again. Many times, we could not get through on the phone, it rang busy for entire days at a time. We finally got tired of messing with them, and asked for our money back. we did not expect the BEST quality for the price we paid, but we did expect to be able to use them up and down our gravel road without incident. My kids both know how to ride ATVs, so it was nothing that they did to the vehicles. Trevor assured us that Budget ATVs would "take care of you 100%". Well, they did NOT take care of us. They asked us to send back the ATVS, promised us 100 % refunds, they did not follow their own procedures for pick up of the ATVs, then (contrary to the agreement we hade made before we sent the ATVs back)they gave us a 50% refund...and refused to talk to us any further. Calls, emails, more calls, letters, and a SMALL CLAIMS JUDGMENT against them STILL did not make them pay attention. Three years later, we are still trying to collect we owed THEM money, they would have already had those vehicles picked up, but since they owe US, they are allowed to ignore us. I recently called and sent a certified letter as part of the debt collection documentation. They told me that different people own the company now, so they dont have to pay the debt. Funny, but the phone number is the same, the people who work there are the same names as when we purchased the vehicles, the company name and the website are the exact same...doesn't matter to me if someone new is writing their checks! As far as I am concerned, they are still liable for the refund. I am out of $1, 000.00. To continue the debt collection process will mean more cost to my family, so now what?! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR MERCHANDISE, AND THEY DID NOT ADHERE TO CONSUMER LAW WITH US.
