On Tuesday, March 04, 2025, at around 7:23 pm, I ordered a rideshare from the yonge and sheppard intersection of the North York district in the city of Toronto, Ontario, Canada from this fairly new ridesharing app in Toronto that launched like a few weeks ago called "Hopp"
I was then assigned a Driver by the name of a "BILAL CAN ACARCAN" who is OF MIDDLE EASTERN DESCENT and was driving that new "Temu version" of a volvo called "Polestar" which was white on the outside.
He (Bilal Can Acarcan) called me ONLY ONCE when he arrived and as soon as I picked up the phone after the second beat... HE HUNG UP ON ME.
I then saw his license plate (forgot to document his license plate cause my phone died out) and rushed as fast as I could to his car
He then rudely told me "WHAT THE HELL DO YOU WANT, YOU [protected]@$KIng CHINESE?." (lol, im not asian but Italian Canadian but okay, if he thinks Luigi Mangiaone isChinese, then ok, lol) and said he cancelled AND DROVE OFF... ON A RED LIGHT!
I then attempted to reach Hopp customer service butvsaid that they couldnt do anything because I was "late" to the ride... IT WAS BARELY EVEN A MINUTE and most ridesharing companies have a cut-off time of 5 minutes.
Avoid a Driver by the name if "Bilal Can Acarcan" who is a middle-aged, medium build, dark-haired with a facial stubble/short beard and has a RUDE AND AGGRESSIVE middle-eastern/turkish accent who will lie to your face so that he can claim the $4.00 cancellation fee and pick up a passenger from another area.

Desired outcome: full refund and permanent driver ban from the app and for him (Bilal Can Acarcan) to be arrested for fraud and theft
