Black Gold Bulldogs, Celebrity Bulldogs, Alice Edward, Don Edward Alison Edward Alison White Alison Edward blackgoldbulldog.com, Black Gold Bulldogs, Celebrity BulldogsAlison White, Don Colvin, Don Edward, Alison Edward, Alice Colvin, Alison Malson, So Cal Bulldogs Puppy Mill selling mass number of English bulldog puppies living in poor unclean conditions for years. AKC papers are also fraud. Woodbine, Georgia

Black Gold Bulldogs www.blackgoldbulldog.com aka So Cal bulldogs is one big fraudulent puppymill of the worst kind. I got my bulldog from Alison White who now goes by Alison Edward years ago when they were located in Bakersfield Ca. They have since relocated to GA & changed names because of all the law suites against them due to animal abuse / neglect. I looks like they go by blackgoldbulldog.com, Black Gold Bulldogs, Celebrity Bulldogs now. My puppy from Don & Alison had crippled legs, little fur & acted like he had never seen a human. My vet said these conditions were due to living in small cramped quarters on fece. It took me a long time to get Barkley normal. I should have never purchased Barkley from these breeders. It makes me sick that I did but I felt so bad for that puppy. I also feel bad for the adult dogs being kept outside without shelter in small cages.
I had almost for got about my horrible experience with Alison when my neighbor purchase a rare black colored puppy from Black and Gold Bulldogs a few months ago. The puppy came to him with crippled hind legs from the cramped poor conditions. Bald patches, ear mites and he was scared of everything that moved. The vet said this pups poor condition was do to the breeders care or lack of.
Buyer beware! These breeders change names like they change clothes. Some names they have went by are Alison White, Don Colvin, Don Edward, Alison Edward, Alice Colvin, Alison Malson, So Cal Bulldogs So Cal bulldogs www.socalbulldogs.com, Black Gold Bulldogs, Celebrity Bulldogs, blackgoldbulldog.com . I'm sure they have more names... Read all the complaints below & pick a good honest breeder. Don't repeat my mistake!

Dear Ralph / Erik / K Mills,

You messed up again. You see, on all the complaints sites you've been polluting, the "Ralph" alias is the one that trashes Don Colvin / So Cal Bulldogs while the "Erik" alias spreads lies about Blackgold Bulldogs. With so many personalities to track, it's no wonder that you, "Ralph", got confused and posted the EXACT same complaint - word-for-word - that "Erik" posted on another site. If people look (http://www.complaintsboard.com/panel.php?action=profile&subaction=summary&type=complaints&id=810730) and realize that you've posted complaints against both So Cal Bulldogs and Blackgold Bulldogs in the same week, they have to ask, how many bulldogs do you have and how is it that you keep getting such bad ones? CLEARLY, your complaints are not about actual purchases from these breeders. CLEARLY, you are a breeder trying to tarnish the names of your competition.

Instead of polluting the Internet with lies, I wish you would focus your energies as I have, on enhancing the quality and reputation of the breed. Please find a more a productive pastime than cyber-bullying, or contact me directly with your issues.

Issues with the mixed-up aliases aside, you couldn't possibly be a former customer because you have never contacted me with these complaints directly. Why not? If your puppy was in as poor of shape as you say, why didn't you ask for reparations? How did it happen that your neighbor bought a bulldog from the exact same breeder that gave you such a sick dog? Did your neighbor not ask you where you got your dog? And, if their dog was such a mess, why haven't they contacted me? Every breeder I know will tell you that they are the first to hear when their dogs have issues. Some customers tell us because they want us to know for future breeding purposes, but most customers tell us because they are looking for advice, support, and sometimes reparations. In the extraordinarily rare occurrence that I sell a dog that ends up having problems, I am incredibly responsive to the new owners and go above and beyond to make it right. My good reputation is part of the reason I've been in this business for so long.

Here are a few signs that this review is fake:

1 - This exact same review is posted by "Erik Corona" in "Ocean City, California". HOWEVER, as part of my AKC-mandated record-keeping, I have the names of all my customers on file. I have never sold a dog to an "Erik Corona" in Ocean City, California. AND, according to Google Maps, Ocean City, California does not exist.

2 - On a different site, this exact same review was posted by Erik from Corona, California. Again, if you're going to create false profiles for the purposes of cyber-bullying, you'll be more credible if you're consistent.

3 - On another site, there's a post by Erik from Corona, whose dog "Barkley" is "beautiful", "active, and healthy" having suffered only from cherry eye in the first few years of his life. That post is a tirade about unprofessionalism and lying, with no actual complaints about the dog. Are we really supposed to believe that there are multiple Eriks in Corona with English bulldogs named Barkley who hate the bulldog's breeder? Clearly, the author of these posts is looking to tarnish the names of other breeders but gets confused as to which aliases and stories he or she has already used.

Here are a few things potential buyers should know about breeding bulldogs:

1 - The AKC physically inspects the living conditions of my dogs and does a thorough check of my paperwork each year. If either of those things were found to be in poor condition, my AKC status would be revoked. I've been breeding AKC bulldogs for nearly fifteen years. Both my property and my paperwork consistently pass inspections with flying colors. Feel free to call them and ask.

2 - The suggestion that a bulldog could act "like he had never seen a human" is ridiculous. Because the delivery is by Cesarean section, bulldog puppies require hands-on feeding every two hours for the first few weeks of life. That is part of the reason that bulldogs have such wonderful personalities. They spend more time with humans than they do with their own mothers.

Here are a few things potential buyers should know about me:

1 - My puppies are incredibly sought after. I have waiting lists for puppies with certain attributes and sell over 70% of my puppies to other breeders, making me the "breeder to the breeders" in the world of rare colored bulldogs. This wouldn't be the case if my puppies weren't among the highest quality English bulldogs available in the US.

2 - I am well-known and highly-regarded as one of the pioneers of colored English bulldogs. I've produced some of the most famous blue, black and lilac English bulldogs in the US. You name him, I probably bred him.

3 - I breed with tremendous integrity and have some of the healthiest lines of colored bulldogs in the US. I continually edit my lines and retire dogs who are not producing only exceptionally beautiful, healthy puppies. The retired parents are rehomed or continue to live with me. It's the least I can do for them, just as retiring a potentially unhealthy parent is the least I can do for the breed, and for my customers.

4 - I own the parents and grandparents of many of my breeding dogs. Owning multiple generations provides tremendous insight into the genetics of our newest puppies, providing customers as much reassurance as possible about the health of their new babies. It also offers the opportunity to "breed out" genetic issues. (A vet who doesn't know me recently checked out six puppies from various parents and reported, "None of the dogs have entropia. That's amazing.")

5 - Anyone who needs a reference to back up the quality of my dogs and the care they receive may speak with my vet who has worked with me for years and has seen where my dogs live. We even co-own dogs together, which tells you how highly he regards the quality of my dogs and the integrity of my breeding program. Also, the woman who has been delivering my puppies across the country for years is happy to serve as a reference. She will tell you that my puppies leave my home clean, vet checked, and clearly well-socialized. She will also tell you that she looks forward to the squeals of delight from the new puppy owners as they receive their new puppy from me.

We love our dogs, take great care of our dogs, and nearly every color breeder out there has our lines either directly or indirectly. Most have come back for repeat purchases. This wouldn’t be the case, and I couldn’t have stayed in business this long if my dogs were anything like what these posts suggest.

Again, Ralph / Erik / K Mills, please contact me directly with your issues or, better yet, focus on improving the breed.
