They've got loads of resources and information about depression, anxiety, and other issues like PTSD. I took the PTSD 8 week course and it was tough but worth it. I didn't realize how much it would trigger me but the counselors are totally understanding and helpful. They even tell you that things might get worse before they get better, and boy did they get worse for me. By week 3, I was dealing with suicidal thoughts and it was really scary. I told them about it and they were super helpful but unfortunately by week 4 they had to withdraw me from the course because they don't deal with suicidal thoughts. I was upset at the time, but I get it. They need to make sure that everyone is safe and getting the help they need. But I have to admit, I was pretty burned about it and felt like they were just washing their hands of me. But I think if I had reached out to them again, they would have helped me find another program or resource to turn to. Overall, I would definitely recommend beyondblue.org.au to anyone struggling with their mental health. They just need to know that it's okay to ask for help and speak up if they're feeling lost or overwhelmed.
