They send letters out sayin' that I can get a new truck for less than I'm payin' for my old truck which is a lie. I went there and wasted 3 hours for 'em to tell me that my payments would be two hundred dollars more. I also told 'em not to send me their trash letters anymore. I, also called 'em today and advised 'em that I was gonna call the ComplaintsBoard.com and they said good luck with that.

Bertera Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram of Westfield Bertera messed up my rear wheel installation, and it fell off while I was driving

Bertera messed up my rear wheel installation, and it fell off while I was driving. They won't fix all the damage caused. I took my 2013 Jeep Cherokee to Bertera of Westfield on November 5, because the air ride system on the rear driver's side wheel was broken. I got my vehicle back on November 12, and everything seemed fine. But on December 3, while driving at 40 mph, the rear driver's side wheel came off. The company admits it's their fault and replaced the damaged wheel, but they're refusing to fix another mechanical issue. There was no mechanical problem with the vehicle before it left the shop on November 20, or before the accident on December 3. So, it must be a result of the accident. In short, they won't give me back my vehicle in the same condition it was in before their negligence happened.

Bertera Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram of Westfield On Sunday June 20th, I got my Jeep Grand Cherokee towed to the Bertera Dealership in Westfield, Massachusetts 'cause it was the closest

On Sunday June 20th, I got my Jeep Grand Cherokee towed to the Bertera Dealership in Westfield, Massachusetts 'cause it was the closest dealership to where I was at, and that's what my auto insurance roadside assistance covers. The abs system was actin' up when I accelerated. Then, on Monday June 21st, I asked 'em to specifically check and fix the abs system on my Jeep. But the service manager said no and had the technicians do some repairs that didn't fix the problem. They charged me a whopping $1,200 for that. They even admitted that they didn't fix the issue and kept "diagnosin'" the Jeep by drivin' it for 25 miles, which messed up the brakes and the drive shaft. So, they replaced the drive shaft. After that, they tried to fix the original problem again for the third time, but they failed once more. They gave me back the car on 6/30, still with the same safety issue, and now they won't give me a refund or let me talk to the higher-ups.

Bertera Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram of Westfield I've been to this dealership 3 times, and they still haven't fixed the problem

I've been to this dealership 3 times, and they still haven't fixed the problem. They're really bad at communicating. I've called them many times and all I got was a short phone call. They didn't answer any of my questions and just wanted to get me off the phone. I brought my car in on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, right when they opened at 9am. They said they would call me when it was done. But after a long time, I called them before they closed at 5:00pm. They told me they ordered parts and I could get my jeep back tomorrow. So I called back on Wednesday around 2:30pm and they said my jeep wasn't ready yet. I had to wait for the part they ordered. I asked when it would be ready and they checked and told me Friday. Friday came and I called the dealership. They said my parts hadn't arrived yet and they would be here on Monday. Then my jeep would be done. On Monday, I went to the dealership and they told me they ordered 3 parts, but only 2 came in. The other one was on back order until February 2nd. They didn't tell me about the other 2 parts. Also, when I brought my Jeep Wrangler in, it was under warranty (35,858 miles). But when I got it back, it had 36,116 miles. When I got to Bertera and asked for my car back, they asked me for a $100 deductible fee. They had told me I wouldn't have to pay anything because I was under my mileage, and "Al" said he would leave my tan open. Now, I don't know how long it takes to drive a minute, but 261 miles is a lot in 1 day. They also said my jeep had just been sitting there waiting for parts.

We was told we would be refunded for a credit check and havent received it. Me and my husband was car shopping at Bertera Dodge in Westfield, MA. We went there to look at a Jeep Gladiator and get more info about monthly payments and APR. When talking to the salesman we was honest and said we wasnt buying that day, just needed more financial info. They said we had to put $135 down for a credit check, but it would be given back. When the money person did the math, they told us to sign to buy our new car, but we didnt. They was all confused why we would give a deposit if we wasnt buying right then. We told them again we was just shopping and wanted to do research. We took the info home and decided it was too expensive for us right now. We called the salesman about getting a refund and they said we had to go in person with the credit card and receipt. Since it wasnt close to us, we hoped they would refund over the phone. After talking to many rude people on the phone, they said we had to go there. They never told us this when we gave the deposit. Im very disappointed with the bad communication skills of the sales people, money person, and manager. They was mean, talked down to us, and rude. I know its only $135, but for some thats a lot of money. We wont buy a car from them again.

I bought and traded in 4 cars with Bertera Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram of Westfield, and I've been getting the run-around from them for the past 13 months. Here's what happened. In early March , I went to Bertera for service and to talk about the paint bubbling on my hood. My Caravan had 48,299 miles on it, and the issue was because they used aluminum on top of steel in the hood. They sent me to the Bertera Collision Center, where Rui M took pictures of the paint and said he would send them with paperwork to Bertera, who would then forward it to Chrysler for warranty approval. Months went by, and nobody called. After many calls, I finally reached Rui, who said he sent the paperwork to Al F, the service manager, on 7/17. He said the repair was approved, but Al didn't take action within the required 60 days. They would need new pictures and paperwork to be submitted again. They promised to call me once the job was re-approved, but nobody did. I tried calling the sales manager to speak to someone in charge, and he told me to call Chrysler Goodwill. I called them 6 times and spoke to 6 different agents, explaining the whole situation each time. But nothing came of it. On 3/1/22, a service advisor named Dan S called and said I needed to have pictures taken again (3rd trip). Five days later, Dan said I had to go to Bertera Chevy in Palmer for new pictures (4th trip). There, Leo explained what caused the paint problem and said the entire hood needed to be replaced. Now, Chrysler has agreed to pay only $700 of the $2,040 cost. So, I've had a year of hassle, with Bertera not returning my calls, multiple calls to Chrysler Goodwill, and 4 trips for inspections and pictures. All because the service manager didn't act when the job was first approved. And now, Chrysler is only willing to pay a third of the cost to fix a problem they created by using aluminum-coated steel.

Bertera Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram of Westfield I bought a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee from Westfield Bertera on 10/4

I bought a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee from Westfield Bertera on 10/4. It had 16,000 miles on it. Before buying, I asked about the rotors and the salesman said they were fine. However, on 11/4, with very few miles driven since I work from home, I noticed my car was shaking and unsafe to drive. The rotors were already warped, and I had only had the vehicle for less than a month.

I called the dealership to let them know about the issue and was told that it should be covered under warranty since I had just purchased the vehicle. I booked an appointment and brought the car in as soon as possible. However, they told me that I needed new rotors in the front and back, and they wouldn't cover it because the rim was scuffed. The salesman, Al, accused me of causing the damage to the vehicle and even hung up on me, saying he didn't have time for this.

To get a second opinion, I took the vehicle to a West Springfield Bertera dealership. They confirmed that scuffing a rim couldn't physically damage the rotors and that it was actually just the front rotors, not the back. This contradicted what Westfield Bertera had told me. West Springfield even gave me a letter stating that the rotors weren't damaged due to any actions on my part and that Westfield Bertera should cover the repairs since the car was so new with such low mileage.

I have a text message from my salesman admitting that he "misheard" the mechanic and that the rotors weren't actually replaced, despite him telling me they were. After a month of back and forth, I decided to call Jeep corporate. They sent me an email stating that the repairs would be covered under warranty. I provided all the requested documentation. However, now they are telling me to pay upfront for the rotors to be replaced, and they may or may not reimburse me.

I have spent hours trying to resolve this issue and have been without a car for days. I even had to pay $194.75 out of pocket just to get the issue diagnosed. It is unfair and unacceptable to purchase a car with false information and then have problems right after the purchase. Now I have an unsafe vehicle, and no one is willing to fix the situation.
