This company claims they were started in 1999 as a tax company. The truth is they were started by a David Hare in CT as a mortage company and has been dormant for over 10 years until Quantum Financial was sold to him. So now all the sudden they claim they have been in business for over 10 years as a tax company which is ###. The sales people over there are all hooked on drugs and are in and out of jail for one reason or another. They have no licensed tax professionals who work cases. All their attorney's and enrolled agents left after they found out the company was fradulent.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
You are right they are a huge bait and switch scam company. Apparently there's both State and Federal investigations going on right now so hopefully they will get brought down soon as these companies usually do. There was just a huge crackdown in Arizona so Colorado is probably next in line. It just takes time people.
This company scamed me for $4750.00. I was contacted by a Sales Rep by the name of Jay Neal. He spent 3 hours on the phone with my persuading me to join their firm and that they would have my tax liability reduced to close to nothing. Berkshire has done nothing on my behalf. Amanda Garza Lira was assigned to my case. She was rude, unprofessional, and extremely unorganized. She was also very unexperienced. Later, I found out that she was in the Army and that's why she spoke to people with such unexpretise. After this treatment, I requested a full refund and they agreed, only one condition. that I remove the BBB complaint. After speaking with the BBB consultant, she informed me that they were trying to intimate me and that the complaint could not be removed. Once I informed Berkshire of this, they refused to refund me. They are posting lies as a rebutal response. This company is a complete SCAM! Their employees are uneducated and clueless as to what they are doing. I have obtained an attorney in hopes of getting my money back!
These clowns called my company five times this morning. They troll the public record and telemarket anyone that they think is in trouble. They called our company by mistake and when I called him a telemarketer you would think I accused him of having sex with his mother.
