Hello,
I am Pep Boys customer for more than a decade and never happened or realized before. At this time, I was so disappointed.

1. On 2/13/2021, In Honda Accord LX 2005, power steering fluid was leaking, and steering was hard when turning left or right…replaced Power steering pump and Rack & Pinion, charged $999.93 (same day service was completed)

2. On 6.8.2021, showed same problem…replaced again Power steering pump and Rack & Pinion. (I asked Mr. Jeff and Mr. Jaime, how is it possible, you installed new parts ~4 months before, and went wrong? They said, earlier installed (2.13.2021) parts were not new, and this time we installed new parts. What does it mean? They took 2 days; car was picked on 6.10.2021.

3. On 6.15.2021, power steering fluid was start leaking again; I made appointment and went there. After an hour, Mr. Jeff said, when we installed power steering pump and Rack & Pinion on 6.8.2021, mechanic shifted engine little bit, and this time oil leaking from engine, and not from Power steering pump, hence, we are not responsible for that. Now this is a new issue and you have to pay for that.

4. At the same time, Mr. Jeff and Mr. Jaime, both were talking to mechanic again and again. To my knowledge, there was no new issue. Mechanic created by himself this engine oil leaking issue. I was trying to contact and looking at mechanic, he said I am busy, and was unable to make eye-contact to me. I knew that what's going on?

5. On same day 6.15.2021, I asked two different people: how much charge for conventional oil change; one said $29 and another said $40. Is price varied person to person?

6. Then, I asked for oil change. Mr. Jeff said, we don't have time today for oil change. I said, I am going to report /or write review to Pep Boys Customer Service Center [protected]). Then, Mr. Jeff said, ok we will do oil change in 20 minutes and will fix oil leak also.

7. Along with, I was so frustrated and had a very bad experience with Pep Boys at Covina.

8. In the last but not the least, new customer is treated very nicely; but returning customer is not.
