I placed an order with Barkbox believing I was making a one box / one time purchase. I got confused about how it worked when placing this order. Immediately after realizing the mistake, I began reaching out to cancel the mistaken 6-month subscription. Immediately, as in that very hour. First I tried the chat and was clearly connected to a bot that only texted they would look into it and never replied further. Then I texted, no response. Then I emailed through the website. Then I emailed directly. Lastly, I called but the phone number listed for their customer service doesn’t work, just says to chat or email. I managed to cancel automatic renewal payments online, but nothing else. On September 16th I received an email from one of their customer service folks named Jess offering to “pull strings” and cancel after the second box. Since then I have sent several messages in various ways asking for that option and for confirmation of it but have never gotten a response from them through any method.

Desired outcome: Cancel the subscription immediately with no further charges!
