Watch for the abusive practices of this literary agent. They ask you to send your manuscript/proposal and a list of all the publishers that you have already submitted your manuscript to. I was naive to disclose the names of all my publishers because I thought this agency was a serious one.

An email communication two months later revealed that they never reviewed my submission (although they had asked for it earlier). Apparently, all they were interested in was that list of the publishers whom I had contacted myself earlier.

There are many predators in the publishing world. Keep your business contacts safe and never disclose any such information to Barbara Doyen Literary Agency or any other suspecious angency.
