Please for the love of God do NOT ever use AYC as a moving company anywhere, any day, no matter how little or how many items you need to move. First off you will get what seems a really nice low quote and you will get excited to save money but then what actually happens is they come to your house they send 3 men that do not speak english or pretend not to (who really knows) then they load up all your stuff and then force you to sign a blank contract and then they tell you to put 15000 lbs in the weight even tho they didn’t weigh a single thing then even better they pretend to deliver it to your house but then AYC will call you and demand payment in full 3-4 times the amount of your quote by e transfer or money order problem is ALL banks will flag the e transfer as the email address is to a possible criminal … the money order goes through tho right away but the contract they forced you to sign has small print that says they won’t deliver your belongings until paid in full. Another sweet thing about this company is they will damage all your furniture even tho they threw in extra fees to wrap your stuff but they half [censored] wrap it so it gets dirty with other customers items that they also have moved before or after your move. I guess right this second im hoping I didn’t get moved with a bed big household. The best hidden fee to me is if they have to walk up or down 7 steps or more they charge you I believe 150 bucks. If anyone has successfully sued AYC please let me know as I plan to go start my court case on Monday May 16 2022. My move was for today May 13 2022 they started at 7 am in Chatham ON and moved to St Thomas ON which is approx 95 km away. it’s now 11:16pm. they arrived to St Thomas approx 9:30pm but they had to first unload someone else’s stuff. Please message me fellow AYC customers that got ripped off. Thanks I have lots of video and my friendly neighbour actually took lots of pics and I am awaiting him to text them to me. my fav pic might be the 3 men smoking inside of the truck with our brand new furniture still inside. Aces! One last thing, they will most likely put dents in your doors or scratch the [censored] out of your walls and pretend it wasn’t them! Good luck everyone.

Desired outcome: 4 Grand refund of fees and any money from damaged furniture of ours that was actually brand new

I should also add that even if you think you did your homework by contacting these people, you will get what seems a nice lady named Gabriella on the phone and she’s sweet so you will think it’s all legitimate

but trust me, she’s just as evil as the rest. After that you will get a biatch named Mindy who says she’s from the accounting department. She will threaten to hold your belongings in storage til the bill is paid. After contacting 3..yes 3 police services and a lawyer i found out too late in the day that no matter what they forced you to sign, they can’t legally withhold your goods and that’s theft so call the police and charge them if they haven’t delivered your items on time.
