On Dec 2, 22 I had my car towed to Village Auto in Seattle. (receipt attached). I am disputing this charge because not only was my car not repaired, my heating and air conditioning no longer worked. I called Village Auto immediately and they would not take responsibility for the fault. The heating and aircon was not an issue I have ever had before.
Village Auto never checked my alternator, they simply state "AAA says that there is not an alternator problem". Which is what I mentioned to Ken at Village Auto, not B/c they ran a diagnostic check. My car was towed into Village Auto on Dec 2, not from AAA, but from Jared's Towing.
A day later my car was completely dead again. Village Auto had my car for 10 days. My car died in the middle of the road on Dec 16th, 1.5 days after getting my car back for Village Auto.
On Dec 16, 22 I had my car towed to Gregg’s Auto (receipt attached). They ran a diagnostic on my car and quickly noted that the alternator needed to be replaced, and that 3 fuses were blown, that is why my heater and aircon did not work. Gregg’s said that Village Auto blew the fuses. Dec 27, 22 I now have had my car, which cost me an extra $1000. I have had my car for over a week with no issues with my starting at all.
On Dec 29, 22 I contacted Village Auto and asked Ken, the owner to speak with Jeremy at Gregg’s Auto regarding the work on my car. I asked Ken, the owner at Village Auto to refund my purchase. As of Jan 2, 23, I have not heard back from Ken.
Attached are copies of the receipts from both companies that document this problem.
