Lesley robinson the breeder of asintay gsds is a lying breeder who runs a very shady business. I bought a gsd puppy online from him and paid $2000 including the delivery of the puppy. Through a lot of conversations I made it very clear to him that the purpose of getting a gsd was to train the dog in personal protection. I asked for a confident dog that has strong nerves and high prey drive. He and his girlfriend personally delivered the dog to my door holding it in his hands. As soon as he let the puppy on the floor that puppy started screaming, running away and hiding behind him! The breeder's excuse? Was the dog is shy and needs some time to get used to the new environment and people. So I believed it and went through with the transaction. Days and weeks went by the puppy is still afraid of its own shadow and lesley kept reassuring me it will get better until my husband and I decided we will no longer wait for this dog to become confident. After a lot of research I found out that puppies that are trained for protection work are already born confident they don't develop it. We had the puppy for 2 moths and these 2 months we did everything we could to train the puppy and build its confidence. Nothing worked! The puppy just didn't have a drive! We came to the conclusion that we must do something about it. Lesley stated in the contract he doesn't provide refund only replaces a puppy we decided to re sell the puppy and get as much as we could from it plus we did not want to get another puppy from a breeder who already lied once. Despite of the contract, lesley was nice enough and offered half of our cash back when he sells one of his puppies. We accepted. The problem though, it's been almost a year now and all we ever get from him is: "message me back a month from now or 3 month from and and etc." not to mention, he was never able to provide me with the medical records of the dog. The dog was suppose to come with first shots and dewarmed but when he delivered the dog he said he forgot the medical records and will send it together with the certificate. Two months went by, he was never able to send the medical records or give me the vets phone number so I could request those! He always had some kind of excuse! This clearly tells me, he lied about giving shots or dewarming his dogs! That was another reason hubby and I decided to rehome the puppy and have nothing to do with this breeder! This guy breeds gsd's just for the money. Quantity over quality! He has over 100 dogs in his kennel and only god knows what happens to the poor puppies who are never sold! I am afraid to even think about it! He showed me videos when he came to my house of large group of dogs following him and told me how many dogs he has. That's how I know this information. This man steals money and produces poor quality gsd's with hip issues that are fearful most likely because abused! I am saying his dogs have hip issues because the very first dog he tried selling me had very slopped hips! Poor dog was barely walking (I only saw it in a video)! All I want is to get the money he promised he will pay us back and I don't even want to remember I ever knew this man! That was my very first experience with breeders, now I got more experience and know how to protect myself and another thing I want is to help other innocent people to protect themselves. So here is a friendly warning from a victimized costumer: don't ever waste money on buying any of lesley robinson's dogs! They are not just over priced but also not worth what u are paying for! Also, do your homework before purchasing a dog! A breeder who provides you with limited information or pictures and videos that don't show much, is a person who has something to hide.
Lesley, you are turning out to be not a very bright person as you have been presenting yourself to be. Writing a comment and pretending to be someone else is very low of you. For your information, yes I have written all the details about everything that happened. You know why? Because I have nothing to hide and I have all the proof to back up my statements! I got conversations, videos, receipts everything I need! When I need to use it, I assure you I will! What do you have? NOTHING! You got a [censored]ty business that sells dogs that only look like German Shepherds! You got NOTHING! You hide behind a comment trying to discredit my words by attacking me but in the end you still got nothing! In the end you are still a pathetic human that lies and deceives for one purpose and one purpose only ---> TO MAKE MONEY! Don't ever threaten me again because my next step will be to have the authorities in your town come and check on your kennel! Judging by the dog I got from you, I feel very suspicious about the conditions these dogs live in! And very soon I will bring justice to these poor creatures!
I bought a beautiful German Shepherd from Les 10 years ago! Speedy is a quality dog and would kill someone who would try to hurt me- the dog is very intelligent and will die for me. I have respect for Les because he was good to me. When I can afford to buy another dog, Les has my business. I pray for Les each night and thank God for such a loving dog lover!

Wow. Do you realize how terrible these accusations towards Lesley are? Words on the internet can not be taken back. Please realize the gravity that your words hold on a forum. And this is someone’s livelihood at stake. A kind and caring man.
I bought a puppy from Lesley as well. His name is Moose, & he is without a doubt the best thing that has ever happened to me. He is extremely intelligent, loyal, loving & confident. Exactly the kind of dog that I was looking for. I receive compliments on him almost every time I go in public. I have recommended him to several family members & friends. In fact, I had a TSA agent ask me for Lesleys information because he was so impressed by Moose in the airport. He trained dogs & thought a dog like moose would be great on his force.
My experience with Lesley was precisely the opposite of yours. By the end of everything, I felt like I had a new friend up in Canada. He wants the best for his puppies & their owners. He would send me videos of moose all the time, just because he knew I liked seeing them. He didn’t have to do that. He would call & talk to me personally and was always kind & honest. He even told me I could come see them in Canada! So in reference to your accusation of him having a puppy mill...if this was even slightly true, he would never have invited me to his property. I know that he does not have a puppy mill. Moose clearly has excellent bone structure, beautiful colors, & great genetics all around. When I received him, he was well nourished & obviously well loved. He was such a social puppy! You could tell he was raised in a good home. I accredit a lot of his current traits towards that upbringing.
I am sorry that your experience was not like mine. But those accusations are terrible, rash & hold no weight. Lesley did not INTENTIONALLY give you a dog lacking confidence. You asked for his opinion on the puppy, & that is what he gave you. Maybe his opinion didn’t end up being the end result. But he did not give you that information with malintent. He wants the best for his buyers AND his puppies. He would not send a puppy to a home where he knew it wouldn’t be well received. He wants to match owners to puppies because he truly cares about both parties and wants the best for them. I know he asked me a lot of questions before he was willing to give moose to me.
Additionally, I am sure you saw plenty of videos of the puppy. If the puppy was really as bad as you made him sound, I think any person who knows anything about dogs could have recognized that in a video. I think you were too critical of Lesley & the puppy. I mean really, it’s a puppy! Every puppy will lack confidence to a certain extent. But more importantly, I can’t imagine ever giving away a dog because they were a bit scared...and as a PUPPY?! That’s honestly disturbing for me to think about. Do you actually like dogs? Or are they some kind of ego boost/confidence builder for you? I’m glad that the puppy got a new home. It’s probably better off.
It is a shame that your fit of anger resulted in such a harsh & inaccurate description of Lesley Robinson. I was beyond impressed with both him & his puppy. Moose is my best friend. I truly hope that people read my post & Lesley gets set straight. I have recommended his puppies to my closest friends & family. In fact, my mom is planning on getting her next puppy from Lesley!
Les has been really good with me. We all have had problems with someone for various reasons. How ever when I lost my Amber this spring Les did honor his word with a replacement puppy. She is a very bright, intelligent and healthy pup

Just so you know this os defamation of character and falsified information and is against the law and i hope you get charged. Your an idiot you even states that it says in the contract (which a dumb breeder wouldnt have) that there is no cash refunds and you resold the dog so your trying to get even more money then what you should get, you have no proof of what he has for dogs and clearly he sent videos and pictures of his dogs which a good breeder does. And i bet you even picked out the dog you got. I hope he charges the [censored] out of you for this crap. Bunch of lies i see here...
. The list is long here . You try to sell West German Showlines gsd as DDR working protection dogs which they are not! Why these people have a issue with you . You sell snake oil and say anything for money and you are doing this with puppies it’s sick. You breed to many dogs there and there is so many puppies older ones .That have issues because of poor socialization and poor health . Maybe your should stop feeding dead road kill to your dogs big reason why you have a worm problem there and the other big one you don’t treat them . You sell dogs with shots outta date and way I hear it lot of people don’t have there ckc papers from you . Maybe a call should be placed to the Canadian kennel club . Spankymonkey lay off the internet women and take care of your animals !
