I believe that something untoward with the membership scheme at Arsenal FC, I have been a silver member for 27 years, since it started in 1996 and I have never had a problem getting a ticket until this season.
So far this season I have seen 1 game for my membership and the club have advised me that it’s due to a high demand for tickets. I have replied that I always got a ticket when we were actually winning trophies during the Wenger era and the ground was much smaller.
The online ticket system is so poor as it puts you in a queue and then you get a message that the tickets are sold out, the club have also advised that there are still only 30,000 silver members but we still don’t get a ticket, so they are taking a lot of fans membership money for nothing, its like doing the lottery!
I personnel think that they have changed the terms and conditions of silver members without consultation and they have oversold the membership scheme to red members to generate more revenue.
The person responsible for this is Vinai Venkatesham but he doesn’t answer any emails?
Arsenal FC are taking millions of pounds from fans who are members and have no or little chance of getting tickets.
Country of complaint: United Kingdom
Desired outcome: I would like them to introduce a better online ticket system that recognizes your membership number and it can determine how many games you have purchased and those that have been to less games go in front of those who have had more.
