Apex Roofing and Restoration LLC review: Roof

I purchased a home in May 2023 and noticed water on the garage floor coming from the ceiling. (Roof) This leak only occurs when it rains. I have a warranty from Apex stating it is good until August 2023 (a 2 year warranty) when Apex was contacted they said this warranty does not transfer to new owners. It does not say that on the warranty. How can this be. What difference does a new owner have to do with the warranty? I feel they should warrant their workmanship regardless of who owns the house. Yes I am a new owner, but the warranty covers the roof. I need your help to resolve this matter.
