i applied for a 14 day free trial of this product, only had to pay the packing and postage i very stupidly put my debit card details onto the computer. i received the product on 31/1/11, they sent an email once they had shipped it and clearly stated no money would be taken from my account unless i decided to keep the product. on the 1/2/11 they took £96.35 out of my bank account!
i sent the product back on the 2/2/11 recorded delivery and also an rma code which is required when returning goods.
i didnt hear from the company so alarm bells started to ring. after countless emails to them they never ever replied. i came accross a page that was full of complaints from people that the same thing had happened to. i went straight bto the bank and explained what had happened, i cancelled my card but on the 4/3/11 they have taken another £96.35 out of my account.
i emailed them again saying i was seeking legal advice unless they gave me my refund. we phoned the company on sunday 13/3/11 to which an american woman answered, she was very rude, said we had sent threatening emails and to put our lawyer on them and then hung up on us! i went back to the bank today who have now informed the fraud department and are looking into it. im not garaunteed that no more money will be taken or that the banks can stop them because it is a debit card and not credit! there must be some way to stop this company from accessing my account! i think i am going to have to close down my account and bank elsewhere! YES i have been very stupid but that does not give this company the right to take £96.35 from my account every 30days as they claim they will do so! to say i am stressed and angry is an understatement! THE COMPANY IS UNDER INVESTIGATION BY TRADING STANDARDS. please folks dont ever put your debit card details into a computer it is unsafe and you are not protected the same way as you are with a credit card!

hi, my bank have been quite good, unfortunately there is a process to go through, contact the fraud dept with your bank, they will send you out a form to fill in, once you do that the bank will reimburse you and do a charge back to the company, normally when this happens the company will not bother you, if they do get more payments taken from your account keep contacting the fraud dept, frustrating i know but it will eventually come to an end im told. the bank saif they will get debarred from taking money from your account. this company is bein investigated by the trading standards so they will probably get their trading license taken from them. i also reported it to the police and im also going to contact my local trading standards office.
i am told by the bank after one or two charge backs to the company you will find they will not take any more money from your account! good luck!

hi lezli, its absolutely shocking that these idiots get away with this, your not alone as millions of people have been sucked in by this scam, im still waiting on forms from my fraud dept if i dont receive tomorrow im going to contact my bank again as i want this sorted asap!
yeah you will be really frustrated not getting any where with your bank, i went to the bank 3 different times and the third time i got a manager who was helpful, keep at your bank, like i said contact your fraud dept who will get the ball rolling, even if you have nothing in your account they will still take the money which will then cause you top be overdrawn, but if the bank are aware of what is happening you will not get any charges and you will be reimbursed.. hope you get it sorted soon. if i find out any more information thats useful i will post it for you.

hi, what a nightmare lezli, report to fraud dept asap, i went on to the antiaging store site about 3 weeks ago and found a bit that has auto shipment cancellation, i did this and 2 wks later they sent an email to say was cancelled and gave me a cancellation number, i got forms from bank to fill in, i then sent antiaging another email not expecting any response, and said that i received their email stating the cancellation number and that i do not expect anymore money will be taken from my account, i also said they took 2 payments of 96.35 from my account and when could i expect my refund, and i received an email the very next day stating that they would refund my 192.70 within the next 10 working days and they would not take any more money from my account!
how very strange! i think the fraud dept has been in touch with them. dont give up keep doing all you can lezli and hopefully this will be resolved for you.
let me know how you get on and i will keep you posted if i actually do get refunded! good luck.

I've also been caught out with them. I opted out immediately, but they've still taken £59.00 from my account. I've spoken on the phone with them and threatened them with the police and trading standards. They have now agrred to refund the money taken, keeping fingers crossed, but I will also notify Halifax fraud department.

After reading all the complaints i feel that i have been very lucky as i too fell for this scam. However, when they tried to take the first payment of £96.35 my bank refused until they had contacted me by phone to make sure i had authorised the transaction. Needless to say i said i hadn't and the payment wasn't collected. I then got an email from the company to say that payment had failed and because of that they were cancelling the membership! It came completely out of the blue as i didn't read the small print and hadn't realised i was signing up for a monthly shipment. I got in touch with the company and told them straight that i thought they were misleading people and taking money by default. If it wasn't for Lloyds bank i too would be out of pocket, so big thanks to them and their security checks.

Natwest have been hopeless. They said that it was not a bank error as I had originally given my authority to debit my account. I have returned the last product and hopefully will get at least a refund for that. I tried to unauthorise payments from Australia but the Natwest kept giving me the wrong numbers for Visa debit (they gave me the domestic numbers not the international ones.) Totally p...ed off with this bank. It appears that they could empty my account once they had my original authorisation for 2.97.They have now sent a letter to anti-aging stating that no more payments will be taken from my account. Knowing their efficiency, they will probably refuse the credit when (if !) it comes through. This has been an expensive lesson for me. I usually use paypal for anything I buy online so am cross with myself too ! One more thing - it may be coincidental but I have received an email from UPS (anti-aging store's transport) with a "dangerous "virus in it and also a scam email purporting to come from my bank quoting my account number. I think these people may be more wicked than was originally thought.

I'm also having the same problem, have had £96.35 taken from my account twice now and I'm not very happy. Not sure what to do or if I could get my money back. I called an 0845 number yesterday, lady said trial has passed its 30 days so cannot be returned, although I didn't receive for weeks after the money was taken out of my account. I will be contacting my bank although it has ll been cancelled over the phone to not authorise anymore payments from my account.

I guess we're all talking about the product shown on this site: http://fdxnewsonline.com/beauty/index11734.html accessed from Facebook (and probably others too). If you click on this site, every subheading takes you into an advert for the product. I tried to submit a comment but it didn't work (either the comments are made up by the site or they didn't like what I had to say). It all sounds very much like the tooth whitening scam of last year.

Thanks Mrs Bradley. I will go down that avenue when I arrive in the UK at the end of the month. Very hard to deal with from Australia ! I have a very small UK account that I use to send birthday money to nieces and nephews in UK and these b***ards nearly emptied it !

Same thing happened to me. They said I should have read the small print but I checked the box that said I did not want to receive further trial offers. The bank has been worse thatn useless (Natwest) as they say that it is not their error although they have allowed an illegal and unauthorised transaction on my account. Where do we go from here ?
