AmCorp Management sells a business opportunity that provides expense recovery audit services to businesses. They claim to have been recognized on numerous major TV stations such as Fox, CNN, MSNBC, Bloomberg and many others. They also claim to have been highlighted in newspapers and magazines such as The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and Entrepreneur Magazine.
AmCorp representations included claims to have a client list that includes notable companies such as Ford Motor, AT& Technologies, McDonald's, Spring, GE Capital, and many more.
AmCorp claims that their services help a significant percentage of clients that meet their minimum criteria. For example, their Utility Audit marketing materials making the following written claims in their brochures:
"A typical utility audit uncovers overcharges that range from 8% to 12% of your utility payments. This could mean huge utility savings for you.
If your company spends over $100, 000 a year on Electric, Gas or Telecom you qualify, or if your company spends over $200, 000 collectively between all your utility costs you qualify. We provide every qualified business with a risk free opportunity to analyze their current utility expenses. Over 88% of those clients are rewarded by refunds, lower utility costs or both."
When they sell the business opportunity they provide the purchaser with information regarding their average recoveries from the prior year and several people to discuss the business opportunity with and the success they have.
None of the purported facts and statistics they provide have proven to be true.
We have filed a claim with the State of Florida, which is where we purchased the business opportunity. What they have done in Florida and in many other states is commit a felony.
I am aware of others who have purchased the business opportunity and hundreds of other people that sign up for their "free" entry that requires you to pay a monthly fee of $29.95 for their back office system.
The founders of this company, Darren and Darryl Oliver, are preparing to bankrupt AmCorp or down size it significantly. They are starting a new company called American Expense Analytics, LLC (A Michigan Company). The Oliver's state they are not part of the new company however that is not entirely true. They are now hiding deeper behind other legal entities that have ownership interests in the new American Expense Analytics, LLC entity and have convinced others to take the lead so they can distance themselves from the organization. Mr Oliver did state that he is a "consultant" for this company. They are also involved with several other companies to collect IT fees etc. from people.
The Oliver's were involved in a previous company with a questionable history. That company was named the Tax Recovery Group, also referred to as TRG.

Darrin Oliver cheated me out of a good chunk of money two decades ago. He grew up with my previous secretary, who got us together. This scam was supposedly about using investor money to make small percentages from overnight bank transactions with Deutsche Bank. He claims to have been ripped off for over a million dollars, so mine and many others' money disappeared.

Everything touched by the Olivers is a scam. Darrin usually masterminds the scam, Darryl goes along with all of it, and Dana starts all of their corporations out of Nevada (where he lives). Darryl Oliver lives in Colorado Springs as of April 2012 because I saw him in town. Darrin was very clever in his recent choice of wife. Sara Oliver works for the Colorado Attorney General. They have NO remorse and love spending all of our money living the good life. :(

The Olivers are habitual liers. Not only to they greatly exaggerate the recoveries, if you are lucky enough to obtain a recovery, they lie about the amount recovered so they do not have to pay you full commissions.

If you have been a victim of any of the Oliver's three schemes (TRG, AmCorp or American Expense Analytics), please file reports with the State of Colorado Attorney General's Office (https://www.coloradoattorneygeneral.gov/) and the Federal Trade Commission (https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/).

Tom and Kathy have good reason to be mad. The Olivers scammed them for 120k. They should be mad. The Herrmanns got screwed for 50k and dozens got taken down for 39k each. They are nothing but con men in action. The find a guy in need of a win and lie to him to get his last dime. AEA is their newest scam, if you join you will not make anywhere near the lies they tell you and it will take years to do even that. It's a scam so do yourself a favor and Run. Just get around the Olivers and you can feel it. How do thier families stick around?

Tom and Kathy Wagenhauser from Contract Audit Services used to represent AmCorp and quit after complaining about their "purported facts and statistics" and started marketing recovery services from his website www.contractauditservices.com using some of AmCorp's auditors and using the same "purported facts and statistics".
Tom spends his time slandering AmCorp and suggesting that the company committed a felony by selling the business opportunity in Florida when he and his colleagues have egregiously committed several hundred felonies by accessing a private corporation's emails and database.
Contract Audit Services must be a scam too because they use the exact statistics that AmCorp uses "We are able to identify significant savings on over 80% of our contract and billing audits." and uses the same form of auditors that AmCorp uses for their services.
The frustrating thing is that Tom recruited me to AmCorp using these stats and now he purports that the AmCorp stats are misleading but he uses the same information on his website. Which is it Tom, is it true or are you just perpetuating the same lie? We both know it is true, I am sure you too have had many recovery successes. Tom just has a grievance against AmCorp and unfortunately has made egregious blunders when accessing private and corporate information fraudulently.
